"From checkin to departure this family owned hotel was a pleasure to stay at. It has an amazing view of the Duoro valley and beautiful accommodations. "Hard to find based on the address. No apartment number. Whole house is a stretch, it’s a little studio. No view unless you’re outside the front door or standing in the patio. Outdoor shower is cold water only. Very rudimentary but comfortable. Location was great for the castle and the restaurant out the front door directly across the road was very good. Recommend the pork cheeks. Make reservations"

"If you like the idea of staying in a thoughtfully reimagined old Inn Casa Pinto should be on your list. All of the rooms are individually decorated and fitted with stone walls in the bathrooms and showers. There's a nice breakfast room inside and a small garden breakfast area for summer. It was nice to have close access to the restaurants and shops right outside the door."
