"Amazing chateau, lovely big room, very comfortable bed, great shower, great breakfast and Francois was lovely, spoke good English and was very helpful with local advice and booking restaurants, don’t miss Table de Henry walkable distance just along the road. Fabulous would recommend to all"

"Our experience from beginning to end was wonderful. Host was very communicative and willing to resolve any issues with other guests and anything else that popped up. Response time was superb!There were reminders in a professional yet cute way (framed pictures) of do’s and don’t which for us was nice. It’s not over the top just gentle and helps take care of the property. I did purchase some incidentals just because and shared those options with host as possible suggestions for future guests although I must admit the Vrbo had ALL the things including ice cream scooper. One thing for host to check into is refrigerator ice maker. Not impactful for us because we borrowed the cooler at the property. Finally one guest in our party is in wheelchair. We are extremely appreciative of the extra accommodation allowed to make this open concept Vrbo work for us across 10 days!Only thing we didn’t do was play air hockey and we talked about it after we left."

"The house is in a sheltered location with a large wooded garden providing lovely shaded areas. We were met at the door by the host, Marion, who showed us around and made us feel very welcome. The house is well equipped and was very clean and tidy when we arrived. The heated pool is great and very much enjoyed by our whole party (Eight adults and three children). Valognes is a lovely town with good shops only five minutes walk from the house. It has a direct train link to Paris and to Cherbourg.The online description doesn't give a clear view of the layout which would be helpful. The ground floor has one bedroom with a shower room attached as well as a separate shower room and toilet. Upstairs at each end of the house there are three bedrooms together with a separate bathroom and toilet.Altogether the house provided a great location for our family reunion with much to enjoy without the need to drive everywhere."
