This was the most uncomfortable hotel bed I’ve ever slept on. I had three poor nights of sleep and now have a sore neck and back. In addition, the carpet in the third floor hallway is a tripping hazard. During breakfast one morning, the chef was arguing with her juice machine suppliers, and standing in the way of customers. I feel this meeting should have happened after service or somewhere else.

Zwar ist das Gebäude beeindruckend von außen, die Einrichtung und Ausstattung spiegeln ähnliche Moderne wieder - leider keine. Unbequeme Betten, alte Badezimmer, dunkle Räume, unangenehme Lautstärke, keine AC… Das Personal ist freundlich, die Räume sauber. Ich würde das Hotel leider nicht weiterempfehlen.

Charmanter Schlosscharakter

Ein historisches Haus mit Schlosscharakter. Etwas in die Jahre gekommen aber charmant. Ideal am Anfang der Fußgängerzone und am Schlosspark. Klimaanlagen tren den Zimmern gut. Aber es gab große Standventilatoren.

Fancy but not comfortable and old

Our stay was during a very warm time. There is no AC, only a fan. Our room was sweltering. Ridiculously hot. We had to keep our windows wide open and direct the fans to blow in the cooler night air. SO hot. The beds were also quite hard and uncomfortable. The staff was nice, but if you can't sleep well in a hotel, what's the point?

Iconic hotel in the center of Regensburg

The hotel is a local landmark, in prime location, close to the railway station and the historic Altstadt. The rooms are spacious, well-equipped with large, renovated bathroom and separate toilet. Towels were exchanged daily and the room was spotless. In summer, the lack of AC may be a problem. Lobby is spacious with comfortable armchairs.

freundliches Personal, praktische Lage, nettes Ambiente - aber: Zimmer und Flure renovierungsbedürftig, W-Lan ging die halbe Zeit nicht, unruhiges Frühstück (liegt natürlich z.T. an den Gästen), Zimmerschlüssel wurde ohne Prüfung der Identität herausgegeben! 😱
