"This property is absolutely beautiful from the house to the surrounding area. Mary and Larry are terrific hosts and communicate well. We had the pleasure of staying over Christmas with family and fur babies. The house was beautifully decorated which made you feel right at home. The beds were comfortable, and I cannot say enough about the kitchen, it has anything you would ever need to prepare and serve a feast. I loved the scenery and the quiet property. "Property was exactly what we were expecting from the listing. It was perfect for our family of four to get away for needed time together away from the normal. Beautiful setting on the marsh. Saw a ton of water birds, owls, and many bald eagle sightings (including three separate eagles at once). We went in January, and the highs were mid to low 30s. It was cold, as we expected it to be, but between layering up and the 4 separate plug in room heaters provided by the host, it was the right kind of cold winter cozy. Kitchen well stocked. We cooked a lot. Nearby state and county parks were wonderful for long family walks and explorations. And you can run from the house directly into point lookout state park. Loved it. Would absolutely try it again and see what the marsh is like other times of the year. "

"Hideaway at Hayes Beach was amazing It was a wonderful place to spend Christmas with our family. We were lucky enough to get snow! My husband and I enjoy walking so it was a prefect place to for it. Would definitely recommend this place"

"My friend and I used it for a weekend of relaxation. The place was impeccable, the bedding very clean. There weren't towels in the bathroom, so if you plan to shower, you will need to take yours.There is no complete kitchen, but restaurants are closed.I love this cabin. It was exactly what I was looking for."
