"Great property for fishing, whether you fish from the dock or you float down the Juniata river. We happened to do both and the fishing was very good, especially when we canoe floated from the end of the Lewistown Narrows to Mifflintown (approx. 4 miles). "We were greet by a super sweet lady, Sharon who showed us around the property. I would not Consider this property as “having all the amenities of home”’as there is no WiFi, couch or tv” but it’s the perfect place for. “Camping” style trip as the mattresses are very thin. There are No places deliver food to this location so make sure to bring everything you need as the closest store is about 25 minutes away. Also a little further of a drive to PSU as we realized. "Beds were comfortable, really appreciated having a recliner, which hotels never have! And two TVs so we could watch different programs at the same time. Convenient to Penn State."

"The house is tucked away in an extraordinary setting on Brush Mountain and is an extraordinary space. The exterior features a cascading stream, valley-wide views, and a huge partially covered porch perfect for outdoor remote work or relaxation. The interior has soaring ceilings, wide plank floors, and lovely lighting and other touches throughout. Eric was a great and highly attentive host.
