This is a great location but the hotel smelled like an old ashtray that someone had left cleaning agent in….nasty.

Pretty nice. I’d certainly stay there again. The shower water was only warm on most days, especially the first day. It got hot one or two of my days (I was there for a week). Not a huge deal because it wasn’t cold but still. Also it’s nice there was a kitchen but there was no pan, just three pots lol, so I made my scrambled eggs in a pot 😂. But the views and staff were nice. The gym was REALLY good for a hotel/aparthotel. It was the best gym I’ve seen anywhere other than a commercial gym.

If planning to explore k town without having to drive this is the best bet.

Welcoming and friendly! From the moment we entered Balboa Bay Resort we were treated with warm greetings, and all the staff were friendly and helpful. Our room was very bright and very clean. We would recommend this resort!
