"The shuttle from the airport is inadequately sized. 11 passengers took 3 different shuttles and a wait of greater than 30 min. We did not use the shuttle to the airport because it only runs very 30 minutes and we couldn’t risk being 30 min or an hour late. I picked the hotel for the shuttle which was a bummer. The beds in the room are comfortable but they are very loud. Every time a person moves, the bed squeaks loudly. There is too much ambient light. The window curtains are too short, a fire alarm flashes, and the door lacks a sweep so there’s a significant amount of light from the hallway. Our shower was broken. The breakfast tasted good and there was variety as expected for a low price. The gym looked great and the pool is outdoors and cold in April, as expected. Staff was average, not friendly or rude. Given the shuttle and room situation, I wouldn’t stay here again. "

"Worst Hampton stay ever! Room had stains and smelled like pee. We went down for breakfast at 8am and they were out of almost everything including juice. After waiting 10 minutes to refill we went to Tim Hortons for breakfast. Stay away!"

"Stayed here one night after a cruise. We did not use the wifi, pool, fitness centre or shuttle, but did not hear any complaints from other visitors. The hotel is older but has had some cosmetic updates with some still in progress. The beds were comfy, the shower pressure adequate, the free breakfast has a decent selection of food and beverages (real protein!) and the staff were all great and friendly. The secure self-parking is a nice feature too. Hotel is also quite convenient to IAH airport. "
