Hotel has nice amenities but upkeep should be kept up during off season. Stayed off season with hotel quite empty and a room change was requested but staff couldn’t honor the request because we booked through Expedia?? Was told that a text would be sent when our room was ready, never received the text Hot looked inviting until there was a ci floating in it

Our stay was interrupted by the tropical storm, however the room itself was very nice. We had plenty of coffee and cups, shampoo, lotion and conditioner. We did find ants upon arrival but didn’t see them again after an hour. The front desk clerk was super nice and helpful. I would stay again.

Staff were very helpful! Maintenance was awesome! We had an issue with the tv and maintenance came and fixed us right up! Close to restaurant’s and only two blocks to the boardwalk. Our room is oceanfront and clean and comfortable.

The staff was friendly, knowledgeable and committed to going out of their way to make sure everyone was happy. The pool staff, especially Dorothy could not have been friendlier or more helpful. Her pleasantness truly made our stay better

Everything was great. Only disappointment was I paid fees and taxes through Expedia but was charged taxes again at hotel.

Thank you for your feedback. We too are upset that Expedia does not include the resorts fee in their balance. It causes confusion for many. After your total, it states the resort will collect the resort fee. Please consider booking again on our website for. More inclusive pricing.

Got couple items stole from our room and the receptionist didn’t care whatsoever, we ended up leaving that place earlier than planned… they barely cleaned the room and everything was very outdated…Terrible.

Hi Maria,I just looked into your reservation information. There was nothing mentioned to us that there was anything missing from your room. All our staff are quite honest. We retrieve and return many lost items, even when they are thrown out by accident. Had we known, perhaps we could have helped. Further, I see that you checked out on the morning of the 3rd at 7:21 AM on your day of departure. That said, I do know the weather was uncooperative that weekend. Oddly, the temperature was only in the 70's with lots of rain. Perhaps you might try the indoor hotel room instead?I am sorry your were dissatisfied.

At first we didn't like the room because it was just an average room at a high price. The phone didn't work and the plug didn't work by the bed for my cpap. Couldn't get the TV on so had to call the front desk from my cell phone. However, after our stay we decided that the two pools and closeness to the beach and boardwalk and other places to go was worth it and we would return. I would recommend to a friend.

We would definitely stay again, it just may end up a yearly event at this hotel. The staff and food were AMAZING !!! It was close enough where we were able to walk back & forth to the rides etc .. just a great experience overall !!

Good, but not a resort.
My partner and I enjoyed our stay overall, mostly due to outdoor pool and the room we stayed in was in good condition. It is also right along the beach, and we did not need to pay to get on. Very friendly staff at front desk. Some things that made it not ideal: bed had a black stain/mark upon arrival in the middle of the bed. Maid came to make the bed next day when we left room, but did not change the sheets. Indoor pool(as most indoor pools are) is gross, hot, and hot tub jets weren’t even on. The on-site hotel restaurant is not worth going into as it stands, they are low-staffed first and foremost, 2 people running the whole restaurant. There was one waitress and one bartender. It also feels more like a place for elderly/disabled, so was a bit awkward as a young couple with all of the wheelchairs coming in and out, plus the extremely slow service for waiter to get us our check. Would maybe stay again, but they have some room for improvement for sure. It’s a larger motel than most, which I believe allows them to call themselves a resort. It is a bit pricey in this sense as it is average in quality.

Dear Anonymous. Thank you for your review and feedback. We call ourselves a resort because there is a mixture of both hotel and motel style rooms. Also, we offer a lot more amenities than your average motel. We enjoy all guests, young and elderly, able and disabled. We are short handed after the kids went back to college. But that is something we are working on. We have a lot of fun events / packages on our calendar that is perfect for couples. Please like/follow us for more information. Unsure how this is a 3-star property. Probably only because it’s right on the beach? Staff at check-in was very nice, but the facilities and room itself was quite dilapidated and cheap. Musty carpets, broken window screens, stained linen, etc.

Late checking in. Arrived at 1:00. They were supposed to text when room was ready,never did. Finally, about 5:00. Exterior walk ways needed a broom.,room was clean. No chairs or umbrellas for the beach. What makes it a “resort “ to charge $25.00! Food cafe was slow and expensive.

Yes. We did have a delayed check in this past weekend due to an extreme turnover of rooms and the pure lack of staff. When this occurs, we are unhappy too. Please don't let that affect your return. It is not a common occurrence. What makes us a resort is all the extra amenities we offer over other motels. Three outdoor pools, private beach, parking, WiFi, beach towels, indoor pool, gym, hot tub, steam room and sauna. Also having a lounge, ballroom, two restaurants, a spa and icecream shop. I do hope you will come again.

Arrived around 230. Told me they will text me when my room is ready after 5 o’clock. I headed to the office. Waited in line for 20 minutes. They told me my room is now ready. It was 525. Told him that I’m leaving. Hope fully I’ll get a refund

Yes. We did have a late check in this week due to extreme turnover and the pure lack of staff. We had just cleared your room as you came into the lobby. After using our property all afternoon we could not understand why you would leave when your room was ready. I am sorry you were disappointed. So were we. Late check in is an occurrence that happens sometimes. It makes us unhappy too. But our staff worked very hard to make sure the rooms were clean and comfortable.

Nice get away for a Jersey shore accommodation
Preservations check in were easy and quick! Anytime I called people were very friendly and accommodating and answered my questions. The room was pleasing it was clean however drapes need to be removed they were moldy and your air HVAC system needs to be cleaned and sanitized. The staff was very friendly and a lot of hands on deck people cleaning sweeping servicing. The first floor patio was a really nice feature!

Just ok property for the price! Rug smelled like mold and was moist, room had a terrible smell. Pool was freezing , front desk was rude!!!

Conveniently positioned near the beach with pools and fun for the kids. The pools were pretty packed and hard to find loungers late in the day. The room served it's purpose. Nothing too fancy. Didn't get a chance to eat at The Lido Cafe, but had a sweet treat at the ice cream shop.
