"Very comfortable beds. Clean and equipped with everything you need. Lovely environment. Great deck to sit and listen to the birds and with a view of the lake."
Cheerful cottage w/ fireplace. Great location for exploring the Lake Pepin area!
10/10 Excellent
"We were extremely pleased with our choice of the Cedarwood Cottage for our stay while in Pepin for a family wedding. The rooms were spacious and easily accomodated our group of 7 adults and one baby (and we had a lot of luggage, baby items, and wedding related supplies, etc. to lug in and find room for). Having the half-bath close to the living room/kitchen area was nice, and a full size bath on both levels was very convenient and gave everybody plenty of room for getting ready. The rooms were clean and well maintained. Communication with host Danni was easy and prompt. The location was Very Convenient for our wedding venue and all of Pepin in general. Such a beautiful, peaceful setting. And the outside patio was awesome any time of day. Lots of room for parking. We all enjoyed our stay and would recommend the Cedarwood Cottage to others. We had a wonderful 5 night stay."
"The house was decorated nicely. Kitchen was lacking in knives that could cut, something to scrub a pan with and a few more utensils. When a house sleeps 7 and has 1 bathroom, a few more mirrors and wastebaskets would be good. Not another mirror in the house so it made getting ready in the morning difficult. Also, having to walk through someone's bedroom to get to a bathroom was a real challenge for us. The description of the property said there was a high chair and an iron and ironing board, but there wasn't. Water coming in during the rain was scary for the children. It ran through the front door, through both stairway windows and through the basement door. we mopped it up with hand towels and wash cloths and our beach towels. Also, our son took his 1 year old son into the shower with him and a hose was started outside and the water turned very, very hot which was really unfortunate. Host was kind and the pool was fatastic. We would stay there again but not in the house due to the bathroom situation, but we would rent a room in the motel."
