About this property

One bedroom cottage - Family owned/operated since 1923

  • Our cottages are clean and well kept. Situated on 3 acres, surrounded by forever wild state land. We offer free wi-fi, cable, fire pits, and grills. Conveniently located between Saranac Lake and Lake Placid. Come see why our guests return year after year ! Open May - October. Sorry, no pets.

    The space:
    Cottage #7 has 2 twin beds. It has a kitchenette with coffeemaker, microwave, and small refrigerator. Please note there is no stove.

    We are a family business that takes pride in our property. We keep our cabins CLEAN and well maintained. We live on the property and will be here to answer any questions you may have. We are only 5 minutes in either direction from Lake Placid and Saranac lake. We are right off highway 86 but our property is quiet and peaceful.

    Guest access:
    We have free Wifi spread throughout the property. Our guests say the speed and signal strength are very good no matter where you stay. There are communal gas grills , Adirondack chairs, picnic tables, fire pits , and horseshoes all free for our guests to use. We sell firewood on the property as well.
    Parking is plentiful and free. There is a gas station within walking distance that carries groceries, sandwiches, beer, ice , etc.

    Other things to note:
    Moreno's cottages was founded by Tessie and Tony Moreno, my Aunt and Uncle 1923. Uncle Tony built this property by hand over the years and Aunt Tessie ran the business with discipline and hard work. David and Joyce Anteau, and David Anteau Jr take great pride in our family legacy here. We are constantly updating and remodeling to make our guests' stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible.
