I didn't like that the weekend cleaning staff weren't very thorough. In room dining menu was scarce of meat dishes, but the food was delicious anyway. There was also a Sundays and public holidays surcharge on room service.
However the room itself, was fantastic! The view was nice, the room and furniture were neat, tidy and clean. An in-room coffee pod machine with complementary pods and bottled water. The bed was extremely comfortable and luxurious. The staff were great and very helpful.
Unfortunately there was no information upon/during booking about the gym and pool currently being under renovation. This was very disappointing as access to these facilities were at 2 seperate locations within an 800m radius of Ovolo. This was disclosed to me only at check-in.
