Wi-Fi was problematic even though our host tried to remedy it.Our host was wonderful and made an effort to meet us in person after her own vacation. Her property managers Piero and Maria were very attentive.The grounds were beautiful. We enjoyed Sant Alberto very much. The cafe was a few steps away and enjoyed by us almost every morning. The gelateria and pizza place were great as well. We met many of the friendly towns people and were sad to leave them!Other than WiFi, our stay was A!

Wonderful an highly recommended

It is a beautiful house on a wonderful big estate with lots of places to read and chill. Anna is a great host, very helpful and accomodating. To the area: There are the beaches, of course, but also a lot of historic sites to visit. The Lagoon of Comacchio is a bird's paradise and we saw a lot of flamingos, for example. In the local supermarket you get everything you need. In the Museum NaturaRa you can rent bicycles. We are happy that we chose Cascina delle Rondini for our vacation!

The Cascina delle Rondini is charming! There are two guest houses located in the garden of a beautiful property dating back to the 17th century. Our family of four enjoyed the one-story house, which was perfectly equipped with everything we needed for a week stay. With two teenagers, we appreciated being able to use the laundry facilities. The on-site hosts are lovely! They were responsive, helpful, and friendly, yet we enjoyed the privacy of our family time.

Wonderful house and host

We are a family of 9, and we got the 2 houses in the property. Is a farm with old houses but made it new, interiors are spectacular, you will have everything that you need. San’t Alberto is a small town very quiet that invite to relax. We went there just after the flooding that harm part of Emilia Romagna, mainly in Ravenna, but the town and houses here in Sant’ Alberto are totally safe, and we still can visit Bologna, Modena, Comacchio, Maranello, totally worth the trip. We had been here 4 nights and Anna and Pia are wonderful hostess, they always keep in touch with us to make sure that we have everything we need and to make recommendations on where to go. If you are thinking to go to Emilia Romagna this is a wonderful place to start!! Thank you Anna and Pia, we will be back in the future for sure. Thanks Nestor

Wir hatten eine wunderschöne Zeit in Sant’Alberto. Anna war für uns bereits auf der Anreise gut erreichbar und hat uns sogar schon vor der offiziellen Check-In Zeit in das Haus gelassen. Das Haus war sehr geräumig und sauber. Die Klimatisierung der drei Räume (Wohnzimmer und die beiden Schlafzimmer) war von Vorteil. Das ganze Anwesen ist umwerfend. Ein riesiger Garten mit vielen alten Bäumen, ein absoluter Traum.Bis zu den Stränden ist man etwa 15 – 20 Minuten im Auto unterwegs. In Sant’Alberto bekommt man alles, was man für den täglichen Bedarf benötigt. Zum Comad Supermarkt ist man in wenigen Minuten zu Fuß gelangt. Und jeden Abend hat uns ein Spaziergang zur örtlichen Eisdiele geführt, nur montags ist geschlossen. Diese ist eine absolute Empfehlung Am Ortsende kurz mit der Elektrofähre über den Fluss gefahren, schon konnte man Flamingos sehen. Unglaublich.Anna war während unseres Aufenthalts immer für uns erreichbar und hat uns mit Empfehlungen für Unternehmungen und Lokalitäten in sehr gutem Englisch versorgt.Zusammenfassend hatten wir eine unglaublich schöne Zeit in Annas Haus, die leider viel zu schnell vorüberging.Mille grazie e arrivederci

Idyllische Ferienwohnung mit Komfort

Wir haben den Aufenthalt genossen. Obwohl das Wetter zu Beginn nicht gut war haben wir Ausflüge nach Bologna und Ferrara gemacht. Am Strand war es leider schon eher ungemütlich, jedoch für Spaziergänge hat es viele Gelegenheiten bis hinein in die Po-Mündung gegeben. Wir haben vor allem das kulturelle Angebot in der Umgebung genossen, mit dem Fahrrad erkundet und die vielen Vögel fotografisch festgehalten. Anna Merighi, hat sich in der ersten Woche bestens um uns gekümmert, mit Tipps zu Restaurants und Besichtigungsmöglichkeiten aber auch bzgl. Heizung, da es die ersten Tage doch etwas kühl war. Als Allergiker hätte ich mir einen Staubsauger gewünscht. Die Wohnung ist geräumig und gut ausgestattet und der Garten ist fantastisch (wenn das Wetter passt). Tolle Lage als Ausgangspunkt für kulturelle oder naturkundliche Exkursionen. Gastgebrin ist freundlich und stets hilfsbereit (und spricht Englisch!) . Haus entspricht vollumfänglich der Darstellung auf der Website. Die Kommentare anderer Gäste - soweit wir sie lesen können - treffen ins Schwarze. Ein kleiner Wermutstropfen sei dennoch eingeschenkt. Entspannte Ferien in perfektem Ambiente

Wir wurden von Anna Merighi auf das herzlichste empfangenen und durch das ganze wunderbare Anwesen geführt. Das Ferienhaus liegt in einem parkartigen Garten, ist sehr schön und sehr gut ausgestattet. Besonders haben wir die Sommerabende auf der großen überdachten Terrasse genossen. Anna stand bei Fragen jederzeit zur Verfügung und hat sich um alles gekümmert. Es war ein toller Urlaub an den wir gerne zurückdenken, wir kommen bestimmt wieder!

Ampio spazio odoroso d'alloro

La bella casa è situata in un ampio giardino circondato d'una siepe d'alloro. In un periodo caldissimo passava sempre un'aria fresca fra gli alberi cosicché non abbiamo mai avuto bisogno dell'aria condizionata, però c'è. A pochi passi si trovano negozi, bar, pizzerie, supermercato e soprattutto il traghetto che porta al parco regionale delta del Po con i suoi fenicotteri. La casa è arredata di buon gusto, i letti sono molto comodi. Un posto per vagare, se non ci fosse tanto da scoprire nei dintorni. Anna è una vera signora. Molto gentile, molto simpatica, aiuta se c'è bisogno altrimenti non la vedi e hai un soggiorno in piena libertà.

Lovely property in peaceful surroundings

We have just got back from a lovely holiday here. We stayed in Cascina delle Rondini and were very happy with it. It has everything you need, is very well furnished and very clean. The property is in a large, peaceful garden and the owner, Anna, is very welcoming, friendly and helpful. Its a great area to have a holiday in as Sant Alberto is close to lots of beaches, Ravenna and the Po Delta. We also went to Bologna and Venice.

Thanks to Anna Merighi and her friendly team for their warm hospitality and helpfulness during our stay. We fell in love with this culture rich country. San Alberto is conveniently located less than 30 minutes from Ravenna, Comacchio and smaller towns. Less than a 2 hour drive from Venice, Bologna and Ferrara. You can go for a long walk along the Reno river. There is also a ferry to cross the river with. The house is walking distance from Conad a supermarket, as well as a fresh fish shop. Lots of small shops in the town( Laundry, hardware shop, coffee shop, pizza take aways...)A lovely country experience. We stayed here 3 weeks and loved every minute of it.

Ein typisches Landhaus mitten in einer großen, privaten Gartenanlage mit viel Platz zum spielen und erholen. Das Auto kann sicher auf dem Grundstück geparkt werden. “La Cascina Swallows” ist ein sehr schönes geräumiges Haus, sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was eine vierköpfige Familie zum Wohlfühlen braucht. Der Ort Sant'Alberto ist klein und überschaubar, man hat aber trotzdem eine gute Grundversorgung, es gibt eine Apotheke zwei Banken, einen Supermarkt, eine Tankstelle, zwei Pizzerien, ein Restaurant, ein Café und eine sehr leckere Eisbar. Die Umgebung ist von Obstplantagen und einem Naturschutzgebiet geprägt und dadurch für Fahrradausflüge zu empfehlen. Die Großzügigen Sandstrände an der Küste, liegen ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Die Städte Ravenna, Cesena und Ferrara sind für Kultur und/oder Shoppingfans sehr zu empfehlen. Die Vermieterin ist jeder Zeit erreichbar, spricht Englisch und kümmert sich herzlich um alle Belange. Grazie! Saluti, Orlando e Famiglia

un paradiso tranquillo

Wir sind begeistert. Ein wirkliches, solides Countryhouse, mitten im Dorf, aber wegen des großen Gartens in paradischer Stille gelegen. Wer abseits vom Ferientrubel mal allein sein und trotzdem Land und Leute kennenlernen will, ist hier richtig. Wenn man Hilfe braucht, kann man immer jemand erreichen. Wir wurden sogar vom Bus abgeholt. Sehr freundliche Besitzerin.
