"The Grand Hotel was wonderful and only a 5 minute walk from the train station. We are a family of 5 (including 2 young adults) who stayed for 2 nights in early August. We had 2 rooms, one for 3, one for 2. Both had lovely views. The free breakfast was fabulous, a mix of hot (eggs, bacon, etc.) and cold options (cereals, fruit, yogurt, cheese, pastries, etc.) There was so much choice as well as excellent coffee. We didn't initially intend to, but we had dinner both nights at the hotel, and both were delicious. The sitting area off the bar was a great place to hang out after dinner. Also, the proximity to the trail head for Rampestreken and the Nesaksla summit made this an ideal place to stay. What beautiful views of the Ramsdalfjord! Everyone in our family was pleased with all aspects of the hotel and a shout-out to all the staff; they were really great!"

"Room was fairly clean. A bit dusty on the floor but could be because it’s clearly an older hotel. Despite that no issue with bedding/bathroom. Amazing view and cheap stay. Good for a nights sleep. Big reception. On site parking, very useful staff at reception"

"Our stay at Tiglkåk was very nice. Easy to find and access, although we had a initial problem with the code to the room. But the staff swiftly helped us! Showers in the basement were really excellent, clean and very good waterpressure! Our only concern was the small fridge which was not enough for all occupants. Anyhow we recommend this place!"

"Amazing house with beautiful views! This house was absolutely perfect for my family. It was well suited for kids. We had 5 adults and one child. It was clean, had a great kitchen, the check in process was easy, and the property manager was quick to respond to messages. I can’t say enough good things about this place. We had the best time at this house and would HIGHLY recommend to anyone staying in the area. "
