Bed and Breakfast in Raukawa

"A beautifully restored period hotel. The rooms are tastefully upgraded, so you will be very comfortable. My room had an outdoor gathering area with chairs to view the ocean, sit and read, or play guitar."

"The bed was extremely comfortable which is the most important item for any hotel. The room was quite spacious, clean and modern. My complaints are minor. The parking lanes were very narrow. The shower area did not have a threshold separating it from the rest of the bathroom and the shower curtain did not quite reach the floor. We went through a lot of towels trying to keep the bathroom floor dry. The room was quiet until traffic noise started picking up early in the morning."

"The hotel is situated in a great position, right next to a small pretty park, the shops and eateries and minutes from the beautiful sea front. Clean spacious room, easy laundry facilities and good wi-fi. Quest kindly stored my luggage for me on my check out day which was much appreciated. My check in was late in the evening and via an intercom which felt a bit impersonal and the gentleman behind the desk the next morning put me in no doubt of being wrong when inquiring about a complimentary newspaper. (I’m sure I had read that somewhere in the documentation) but he assured me I was wrong! A smile would have been welcome. Check out on collection of my luggage felt equally anonymous when I returned there. As a solo traveller a little bit of conversational interaction is welcome and that would have been nice. "
