"We enjoyed everything about our stay from the gorgeous room (which we received a surprise upgrade), beautiful grounds, stunning views from the tower, helpful and friendly staff, fantastic meal at Gut Matzen, and breakfast. I loved exploring the castle, so much to see and discover!"

"Our room was a little smelly but after both windows were open to have wind through, that's better. The room even has a desk that I could work, however, no light above the desk and the indoor light was too weak to work on computer. The hotel even has a lift to use, very surprised. We had our dinner at their restaurant. Very nice glass house, even with air conditioning. They don't have menu because the restaurant basically is serving the hotel guests. That night's dish was pork steak and it was a 4-course dinner (noodle salad, soup, entree, cake) for 25 euro."
