Often you can be treated like a tourist where as the Hotel Vesuvio they treated you with care and respect."

"A ten minute walk from the station. Very helpful staff. Room clean and reasonably well appointed. A comfortable bed and a good night's sleep. Van delivery to the supermarket across the road at 5.30 am onwards was a bit noisy at times. Breakfast was alright but choices a little limited. The staff again were very helpful."

It is close to both train station and ferry port, both of which are only within five minutes walking distance on a flat road, which is a big plus in this region, because some hotels or train stations may be on hills. Hotel is clean, staff is kind. Air conditioner was a new one, worked very well and was quite (you will need AC in this humid climate even in mid September).
