"This is a hidden gem. Cabanas in a beautiful setting on a moat by the river entrance to the lake. Almost empty because tourism hasn’t come back here like the rest of the country. Amazing staff, good food, great prices and they’ll arrange a tour to Thale Noi too. A highlight of our trip."

"Very friendly lady owner and can speak good English! There is also choice of American breakfast or local rice or congee. Tried authentic Thai milk tea. Room is Only downside is too small signboard and not catchy, plus hotel is just 2-3 units from a road corner. You need to drive there as it’s just in front of a pier. Was driving past and missed using GPS. Entrance is just a small lane into a cafe. It definitely don’t seem like a hotel. Room is clean and fragrance nice smell. Bed is comfortable...

"Ao Thai resort was a step above the rest. When I think of paradise from now on it’ll be associated with ao Thai resort. Uwe and his family have an amazing resort that feels very cozy and homey while being as luxurious and you would want for a secluded beach getaway with the family! Don’t miss out on the food because they are cooking some of the best food I’ve had on our travels throughout Thailand and it’s all made fresh and to order. Absolutely stunning resort and will be racing to come back and spend more time! Take advantage of the amazing amenities offered, take the excursions with the knowledgeable tour guides or do the massage that will knock out every knot in your body! 10/10 love it here and will be back!
