South Branch 15-1 is a cute and cozy ski-in/ski-out condo located right on Saddleback Mountain, making it an ideal home base for your mountain getaway. Just steps from the slopes, you'll also be close to the main lodge, where you can enjoy the pub-style restaurant, gift shop, and other on-mountain amenities. When you're ready to explore more, downtown Rangeley is only a short drive away and offers a great local gym, a variety of restaurants, and charming shops.

This first-floor condo is designed for comfort and convenience, perfect for families or friends traveling together. After a day on the mountain, relax in the inviting living room featuring a gas fireplace, Smart TV with cable, and a DVD/Blu-ray player, along with a large selection of DVDs for both kids and adults. There are also games available to help everyone unplug and reconnect.

Enjoy beautiful views of Saddleback Lake and the surrounding mountains from the deck (seasonal), furnished with patio chairs and a table during the warmer months. The fully equipped kitchen includes a dishwasher, microwave, spices, and oil for those who enjoy cooking at home. Additional conveniences include a heated ski locker in the basement (under Building 17) for easy gear storage and a washer and dryer to keep things fresh throughout your stay. This was our 3rd south branch condo and it might be our favorite. So well stocked with games and kitchen supplies and equipment. Very comfortable and like the bedding. We would try to get this unit again!

A Perfect Getaway

My experience staying here could not have been better, and this would easily be the case at any time of year. Everything was seamless, from check-in to check-out, and in between was filled with incredible views of the scenery and ease of access to explore the landscape, whether it be hiking, or skiing. I would absolutely stay here again! A great spot to disconnect from the world and recharge.

Great place, will be back!

We had a great time here for our annual friends ski weekend. The condo was perfectly situated for easy ski in/ski out, with access to a chairlift. The views are phenomenal. The building seems well build, the fixtures and finishes inside are very nice, the beds are extremely comfortable, and the convenience of the ski locker room was a nice bonus. Hopefully we'll return next year!

We had such a good experience during our stay at the South Branch Condo! Ski-in and Ski-out was such a wonderful way to experience the amazing skiing on Saddleback. I can't think of anything bad to say about the condo. Highly recommend!!!

Enjoyed our stay at South Branch

Except for not hearing back from them promptly after notifying them that I'd left behind my memory foam pillow, everything was wonderful. Unit was clean and comfortable; all the necessities were provided. Enjoyed the gas fireplace and internet WiFi; didn't use the TV. Ski-In/Out is such a luxury, pampering ourselves.

Incredible stay at South Branch Saddleback Mountain

We stayed at a South Branch condo for 4 days. I am super picky. This condo was not only very clean and well maintained but it was also fully equipped with anything & everything you could think of. It was very updated and perfectly decorated. The beds and living room furniture were very comfortable, topped off with a great fireplace and unbelievable views. The ski in ski out feature was helpful, but it's only a couple minutes to drive to the mountain. We would definitely recommend it to anyone and are already planning for our stay there next year. No one wanted to leave! We can't say enough. As a side note- everyone at Morton & Furbish were so willing and patient to answer my 2000 questions as if it were only one!

Fabulous location off the ski trail.

This place suited our needs perfectly! Because of COVID we were trying to avoid going into the lodge, so we opted for a ski-in-ski-out location. South Branch is a VERY short ski away and a VERY short walk from the Smelt Streamer trail to our condo (maybe 30 feet). We were able to ski back for lunch and even just to use the restroom. The condo itself was very comfortable (though quite compact!), very clean, and well appointed with everything we needed. The only criticism is that the size of the condo didn't allow for a mudroom and we weren't allowed to bring boots or gear inside. There is a downstairs boot/gear room but we had to go outside to get to it and there was still no place to sit down and put on our boots. That made it a bit of a pain, but not the end of the world. Overall, we were pleased to visit Saddleback again and very pleased with our rental!
