Fantastic family vacation!! The views were incredible, the house was very clean and welcoming, and the size was perfect for our family of four and pups. The property manager was extremely responsive and helpful as well!

The property has a spectacular view and is very convenient to downtown Rangeley. One issue with the property is that the washer and dryer are in the basement and the basement stairs lack a handrail.

We enjoyed our stay. The location has a beautiful very. We had a full moon that was stunning over the lake. The house was well stocked and it was perfect for 3 people. We would definitely return.

Eagle's Ledge

Lovely cabin with an amazing view. Great privacy for relaxation. Close enough to Saddleback to make a quick trip up to catch first chair. Enjoyed a fun, vacation week watching the sunset over the lake and reading with a view.

Eagles Ledge great getaway.

a relaxing cabin with, breathtaking views. Property management attentive to communications. Quite, cozy, and perfect. Far enough away from town, but close enough to a grocery store. A lot of nature viewing.

Eagles ledge

Great little place, no issues for 3 of us. Stove has some idiosyncrasies but we were able to cook meals just fine. A wood cutting board would be a great addition. Slept well, beautiful views and would gladly go back

Loved it!

Loved the cabin, as it was very accommodating and cozy. Great view and amenities. The only drawback was the pitched, dirt driveway. Maybe it tricky to get out in a snowstorm but gladly there were a few shovels provided that we were able to use to shovel the snow and go skiing. I would recommend it to a friend and our representative at Morton & Furbish Vacation Rentals was very nice and accommodating.

Nice place. If I were to design a place for myself, it would be quite similar. Nice spot to look see the lake and mountains. Minor things to fix: Shade in bedroom (street side window) Batteries for tv (forgot to get them) Light over stove Shower valve may need a little work. Very relaxing spot to be. Enjoyed it. Perfect fit

We rented Eagles Ledge to view the Solar Eclipse on 4/8/24. We were not disappointed! The home has a beautiful view of the western sky (think sunsets!), a large deck, and we found camping chairs in the cellar. The home itself was very clean, and wifi was strong. I was able to remote into work for a few long conference calls, and never dropped a moment. The beds and pillows were comfortable, and the indoor temperature was pleasant. Pantry was well stocked, and everything we needed was provided. We have visited the Rangeley area every year for 30+ years. We will definitely rent this location again.

Not Really Worth The View

Only the view was good. Location is within hearing distance of busy Rte. 4. There was construction going on next door and across the street. Home is Very cramped w/lots of tchotchkes. Bed is a full and very tight BR space. I could list Many other details of things that could be improved upon.

Awesome view!

Our impression of the property was mostly favorable. Situations out of control for the owner was that there was loud construction next next door all day long. The lawn people came early (07:45). Other concerns were the crumbs and some kind of over-the-counter gel pill under the red bookcase in the kitchen that the dogs almost ate. Nether washer or dryer were in working condition. The washer did get our clothes wet so we wrung them out and hung them off the deck to dry. We always come to Rangely to hike and had a lovely time doing just that! And the sunset from the back deck was amazing!!!

Eagles Ledge review

My experience with both Morton Furbish and our rental at Eagles Ledge were both excellent. The house was perfect for a small family and was a bit nicer than I had expected. The house was clean, had solid amenities, and a fantastic view of the lake. The weekend we went had a plenty of snow. The only suggestion I would make for potential new renters is having a 4 weel drive vehicle would be beneficial when the snow is abundant. We have a 4x4 truck so we had no issues, but someone in a car might...nobody's fault here, just some steep snow covered roads coming to the house and a steep driveway. Many thanks! -Luke
