Great property with a beautiful view of the lake! It was very close to Saddleback Mountain and several hiking trails, which was perfect for my dog and me. We were also just a short drive from town for anything we needed. The hosts were responsive and friendly. Overall, it was a great stay with a group of my friends!

Ski weekend
Our stay was great from start to finish. Even the dog loved it. Great people at Morton and Furbish. The only issue we had was Mother Nature decided to dump 9 inches of snow the night before we were leaving.

This was an awesome location and would love to rent the place again. Just a couple of items you could address before renting again is the kitchen faucet leaks badly and needs replacement, the water pressure is low and the water taste terrible as i just used for cooking and showering. It's a great place and a great location.

If you're looking for a well kept ,very clean ,very well stocked and located close to all activities. This place is for you.
The Staff at M&F couldn't be any more pleasant….
Only concern for my group is that we could have used a grill…. We ended up cooking some
Ribeyes on the open flame out side….
Other than that… I highly recommend this cabin..
The house has a beautiful view and is located conveniently to Saddleback and area amenities. I wish that we could rate higher but encountered several issues with our stay. The house was infested with Asian lady beatles. They were everywhere including in our beds and on our food. Our daughter went to use the Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and when turned on the jets black mold filled the tub. The house needs some repairs including the ceiling in the downstairs basement bedroom and the bathroom. You lay in bed and look up at exposed piping. Countertop in the kitchen by the sink is broken, the pots and pans were in really rough shape. The kitchen was very well stocked with whatever you needed which we appreciated. My husband reached out to Morton and Furbish regarding the issues that we experienced and spent a lot of time on the phone trying to get this resolved. We literally killed 200 bugs. They offered to move us to another property however those 2 houses could not accommodate our party's sleeping arrangements. They had a cleaning crew come by to vacuum up the bugs and clean the Jacuzzi tub. They were very nice and helpful. Unfortunately the bugs came right back after they left and we just had to deal. We were hoping for a nice stress free vacation and sadly it was the opposite. They returned our 200 cleaning fee as compensation although we felt like they should have done more.
The Whynot is a great house just outside of downtown Rangeley so everything is with close distance from the house. The house is comfortable and has everything you need for your stay. We had eight people staying in the house which made it a little tight in the living/kitchen area when everyone is together. I think it's a perfect house for three couples. It was disappointing that we couldn't access the snowmobile trails from the house but understand that Mother Nature has been tough on the area. Hopefully, the access trails will be fixed before next season and above all else, get some snow!! We really enjoyed our stay at the Whynot and would stay there again.

Comfortable, warm, spacious
We had a great time over February break at Camp Whynot. We skied at Saddleback all week and it was an easy drive to the mountain and comfortable place after a long day of skiing. There was plenty of room for 3 adult couples and two children. I would call the basement and loft beds sleeping areas, not enclosed bedrooms, but still great sleeping areas. Nice big, level, plowed driveway for multiple vehicles to easily come and go. Well stocked kitchen with pots/pans, pantry spices, and such. Extra fridge in the basement was great as we brought a lot of food and beverage! On the Stairway to the upstairs, older folks and little ones need to be careful, the stairway is open to living area and not a full rail on wall side. Very nice sunset view. Overall great rental, would recommend.

An annual trip that my brothers and I make to Rangeley and to this property specifically never seems to disappoint.Very comfortable home with enough room to accommodate us.
The Team at Morton and Furbush couldn't be more accommodating to fill our needs.
A very special thank you to the staff for supplying us with a Gas grill that was delivered by the maintenance crew.We were prepared to buy charcoal and a grill for our annual steak dinner and was pleasantly surprised by what was in the driveway when we arrived.
Those small details are what and why we continue to come back.
Thank you again for an amazing week and we look forward to next year to do it again.
My husband and I had a great time staying at this property! It suited our need perfectly and was a reasonable distance to Sugarloaf and Saddleback making it a great location for our yearly friends snowboarding trip! We definitely plan on staying here again.
Camp whynot was beautiful and spacious plenty of parking for snowmobile trailers
The rental company was amazing, very helpful and our family vacation went very smoothly! They gave us great tips for the area prior to coming in!

WhyNot Stay @ Camp WhyNot?
We enjoyed ourselves at Camp WhyNot! Great beds, space for everyone, comfortable house all-around. The only true issue was the internet speed and reliability - it dropped completely on 4 days out of the 7 - we had two people that were working remotely. The kitchen could use additional necessity items, such as a pasta pot and sharp knives. The location was great and isolated. Looking forward to staying next winter!
