Wonderful house! Tons of space and clean. The downstairs bunk beds were a bit unstable but the rest of the beds were very comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked as well as the fireplace.
This house was perfect for our snowmobile trip. The house has a large family room to hang out in. It was close to downtown, trails and just a short drive to sugarloaf.
Beautiful lake house in Rangeley, also has a creek flowing into the lake on the side of the property. Will definitely be back

Amazing time in Rangeley
The team at M&F was amazing even before our stay! Once on property, the house and grounds were as nice as they look in the pictures and they looked amazing already.
Hot tub and Sauna at the house was on the top of the most used feature list. Both provided great memories.
No doubt we will be using the M&F team when we come back!

Amazing Property
This house was perfect for our long weekend in Rangeley. The kitchen literally has everything that you could possibly need to make a gourmet meal, the beds and couches are comfy and the sauna is amazing. The sound of the brook outside of the house was so relaxing and the wildlife is spectacular. We saw a bald eagle and a couple of deer, it was really cool. We are definitely coming back to this property.

Good for the soul
Gorgeous house on an amazing piece of land. Truly a slice of paradise. We had a wonderfully relaxing stay, and the folks at M&F were terrific. Can't wait to come back up again.
This was for a surprise 70th birthday party. We had so much fun! The hottub, swimming, kayaking, fishing, hanging out, and sitting by the fire - a wonderful time! Large enough to have our own separate sleeping area.

Brooklake
We spent the weekend at Brooklake while we attended a wedding. We had to reach out to the rental company for some assistance and they went above and beyond to accommodate our request. Thank you Dan, Sara and Beth, we hope to visit the Rangeley again this winter.

Beautiful home in the perfect location
This home was perfect for our family (and a few friends) for the week. Plenty of beds and bathrooms for all of us to be very comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed and then some. Located right on Dodge Pond (which is large!), and the sounds of the brook running next to the house make it the perfect location. Hot tub was so nice after some local hiking. Go eat at Portage in Oquossoc and Loon Lodge in Rangeley. Make a daily trip to Pine Tree Frosty also. We'll be back!

The property was unfortunately a bit underwhelming compared to the photos, which made it seem more polished and well-equipped than it actually was. There were several details that didn't quite live up to expectations—some broken items, outdated features, and general wear and tear that took away from the overall experience. It's clear the space has a lot of potential, and with some thoughtful upgrades and a bit more attention to maintenance, it could be a great stay. With a few fixes and improved accuracy in the listing, it could definitely live up to a Superhost standard. In my experience Superhosts go above and beyond and as a guest I expect nothing less. I expect clean, functional, and thoughtfully chosen items—not broken appliances, the cheapest possible furnishings and misleading listing amenities. A Superhost badge should reflect a higher standard, and anything less feels misleading.
It's never easy to write a negative review, especially when I had high hopes for my stay. I truly wanted to enjoy the experience, but I can't help feeling that things could have been so much better. Disappointment isn't something I take lightly, and unfortunately, that's what I walked away with.

Spacious Family Gathering in an Idyllic Setting
We were there in winter. Two-story wall of windows with a stone fireplace in the center. Large family gathering area--seating, dining and kitchen. Bedrooms and bathrooms are as shown and nicely spaced for privacy. Woodsy setting with a strongly babbling brook feeding into the lake and enjoyed from the hot tub. Lovely view of the lake (partly frozen) and hills beyond. Short drive into town. Rangeley is both charming and friendly. Morton & Furbish people are genuinely helpful should a need arise. Satellite internet and TV--which are inherently on the weak side. More time for family games and conversation. Cell phone service is usually good. Texting reliable. Excellent cell service in town and at Saddleback.

Brooklake
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at Brooklake. The house was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was well stocked with most anything you could need. Driving up to the property it appeared to be tight to other homes, but the back of the property is very nicely landscaped and private. We enjoyed sitting on the back deck listening to the sound of the steam running along the property. The new dock was great to sit and enjoy the day. The lake was crystal clear. Note, the water level at the dock is only about 2 to 3 feet. So for those of you who like jumping or diving a floating platform further out would been a good addition. There is plenty of watercraft, a huge firepit and horseshoes. The third bedroom in the basement was good, but probably more suited for younger kids. The only reason I gave it 4 vs 5 stars is it was a little pricey compared to other rentals we have had in the Rangeley area.
We had a beautiful stay at brooklake for a long weekend with another small family, and had a wonderful time! The kitchen was well-equipped, it was nice to have two living rooms to spread out in, and the hot tub was fun to use at the end of the day. We would come again!
