Setting was beautiful. The cottage had every amenity you could possibly need. Very comfortable and private accommodation. Use to main house and access to stables was a nice addition. Would highly recommend. Thank you for a lovely stay!
We had a wonderful stay at Ármót Guesthouse in Iceland. It is such a beautiful, charming, and peaceful place, surrounded by stunning countryside and Icelandic horses. The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the scenery was absolutely breathtaking. A truly special place to stay and a memorable part of our Iceland trip. Highly recommended! ❤️🇮🇸
We had a wonderful stay at this hotel and were very impressed with the overall experience. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained. The owner was very friendly, professional, and always willing to help with any questions.
We rented the cottage and a room. Cottage was newer and comfortable. Beautiful farm setting overall. Room in the guesthouse was dated but comfortable. The shower enclosure in the guesthouse room was super tiny and the drained slowly. Made for an uncomfortable shower. Breakfast for $20 was basic but works given remote location.
Couldn’t have chosen a better place! It was great to relax at the premises of this amazing guesthouse and the room was not only super clean but also very modern and comfortable. I truly appreciated the views of the farm horses from the balcony. Felt like home, very peaceful.
Check in was flowless and the owner was very welcoming. Amazing breakfast. Exceptional stay which I’d highly recommend!!!
Patrick fixed and served the morning meal and he was delightful. We met the owner and enjoyed a great conversation with him. Patrick gave us dry bread to feed the horses. This is an incredible horse breeding and training Farm. The horses were absolutely beautiful! The downside was… There seemed to be a musty smell everywhere in the house that we went.
Our cottages were good. Having a kitchen & dining area made it more spacious and we were able to make our own hot breakfast. It’s on a nice farm. Would recommend this property.
Lovely stay on an equestrian centre. The guesthouse was clean and comfortable with an enormous upstairs sitting room with tea and coffee available.
Breakfast was adequate but convenient.
It was lovely to see the Icelandic horses outside the window and to be able to visit the stables to meet them up close.
This has been my favorite spot to stay in Iceland! It’s quiet, clean and the view with the horses is amazing.
The common area was clean and inviting and breakfast was excellent
A fantastic, quiet location not far off the busy tourist route, but a world away from the speed and hassle of the Seljalandsa. We enjoyed a very comfortable bed, a great view and tasty breakfast. It was a real bonus to be able to visit and interact with the horses and their trainers.
Great for 3 of us. Lots of room, big bathroom and full kitchen in a beautiful location. Close to town with great restaurants, gas, groceries, etc. Very quiet.
Wonderful space and stop over. Staff was super helpful and the breakfast wonderful with lots of variety. The farm was idealic with horse just around the corner to visit, would go back in a heart beat.
