We loved our stay here and wish it was longer! Homemade chocolate cake and cookies on offer. Board games my 7 year old loved and quirky, fun room (the old haystack). It had everything we needed and the views from the apartment cant be beat!

Very nice new hotel. Rooms are spacious with excellent decor. Also the lobby and eating area is very well laid out with plenty of spaces to lounge about. Breakfast was great too. I would definitely stay here again.

Highly recommend this hotel. The rooms are wonderful and the food in the restaurant is incredibly delicious. The option to go horse riding on the property is a great addition and so much fun. Great place to stop when driving back to Reykjavik from Diamond Beach.

Food was amazing along with the service of the staff.

Well appointed units in a lovely quiet rural setting. Horses were entertaining. Kitchen incuded a induction cooktop and dishwasher. Great wifi and comfortable beds.

We were pleasantly surprised by the comfort and amenities provided at Kviholmi. The owner Gunnar was at the property when we arrived, so we did not need to use the lockbox checkin. We were upgraded to a larger room. The property has views of the mountains to one side, the Westmann Islands to the other. Sheep gambol in the green fields. Comfortable beds, good bathroom and well equipped kitchen. Top marks all around.

On arrival during the time for checking in there was no one present. It would have been helpful to have received an email with room directions. There is a phone in the house with numbers to call but no one answered or the phone was not functioning. We had to go outside and use a mobile to call and be advised which room was ours. The room and ensuite were spacious and very comfortable. A lot of effort had gone into appointing the room.

Everything was great about the Midgard Base Camp. I would give the staff more than 5/5 if I could - every one was so friendly and helpful. We stayed three nights and joined one of the day hikes with Midgard Adventure (ten percent discount if staying at the base camp). The other day we drove between the many sites and took shorter walks. The area is beautiful and the accommodation was really the perfect place to stay - very comfortable beds, great shower, reading lights - hot tub and sauna,...

Everything exceeded our expectations. Very professional and helpful staff. Room is cosy and spacious Dining at dinner and breakfast were both great experiences. warm and friendly staff across the venue. Thank you for the very warm hospitality.

Good location. Close to waterfalls and ferry to Westman Islands.

The staff were helpful, the room although small was warm and comfortable.the restaurant was great for breakfast and dinner.we had access to a laundry so we could do some washing.
