Die Wohnung ist zentral gelegen, hat aber nicht, - wie man bei dem letzten Foto meinen möchte -, ein Fenster mit schönem Ausblick im Obergeschoss, zu dem die fotografierte Treppe führt - im Gegenteil: der Eingang zu Küche und Duschbad liegt im Erdgeschoss, und die Treppe führt in den Keller! Dort hatte der Durchgangsraum (Wohnzimmer) keine Fenster, der dahinterliegende Schlafraum hatte Kellerfensteröffnungen zu Lichtschächten. Das hatten wir so...

"Large apartment. Kitchen very well laid out with induction cooktop and appliances. No microwave. Large kitchen/eating area and large bedroom with king sized bed and sofa bed. Pedestal fan in room a bonus for those warm summer nights! Building itself is ongoing refurbishment. And there is no lift/elevator. 1 km from main railway station and about 100m from tram/bus-stop. Very easy access to the city. A great holiday rental in a wonderful historic town."

The owners responded immediately to any questions and were so helpful.....providing me with antiseptic and bandages when I had a fall, going to a nearby restaurant and helping us order since I don’t speak German and generally being very pleasant and friendly. Der Zugangscode sollte am 29.03.2024 zugestellt werden. Dies ist erst am 01.04.2024 nachmittags per email erfolgt und ganz witzig nochmals am 02.04.2024 per email. Es ist ein blödes Gefühl anzureisen, mit dem Gedanken keine Übernachtung zu haben. Es geht noch schlechter: die Betten im zweiten Zimmer waren nicht bezogen. Cash...

"I can't say enough about this property. The apartment was spotless, well furnished, and so comfortable. (at an amazingly low price!!) The hosts were wonderful. I was not feeling well and Mary brought be homemade soup & zucchini bread from the magical garden that surrounds the house. On another occasion they offered us a ride into town. We can't wait to return. "
