"Very friendly and accommodating host. The apartment is in a comfortable and convenient location, especially for us as we were visiting someone on the same street. The apartment was clean and was in the process of being renovated during our stay. The bathroom was not quite finished yet, but this did not cause us any inconvenience. The apartment is located on the second floor and there is no lift, which was perfectly fine for us. Overall, we had a pleasant and comfortable stay."

A great retreat from the bustle of the cities and conveniently located near Villa Romana del Casale. We picked up a hire car early in Palermo, drove to Agrigento to see the Valley of the Temples and then made our way in the late afternoon to La Casa sulla Collina d'Oro. The venue is easy to find with a sat nav in the car - probably more difficult with a traditional map. We had dinner in town, and our best breakfast in Sicily at the house on the golden hill. We stayed with our 2 children. ...

Lovely old house with fabulous views. If you drive in from the south you can see it on the hill - the big red house. Good array of breakfast foods - fruit, pastries, yoghurt, cereal. But bring mosquito spray - lots of mosquitos in Sicily. Good staying outside of old town. Would recommend you stay outside the town and walk in. It is about a 15 minute walk, up a gentle slope. A 15 minute drive to Villa Romana del Casale. Well worth a visit to this historic site but get there early at 9am to avoid...

Rooms are all stunning and the location is perfect - close to the action and sights but free from all noise and congestion. The rooms are all so uniquely designed - we had two rooms (1 and 5) for our group and I can’t recommend this B&B enough. Friendly and helpful staff, excellent ac and shower pressure, comfy beds and unique touches everywhere. One of a kind and the perfect location for a few days in Catania.
