Traveling with multiple groups? The home is split into two separate living spaces with their own kitchens.
The bottom level has 4 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms and a private outdoor patio area with a grill and fire-pit area (bring your firewood!)
The top area has 2 bedrooms and 1 bathroom. Please note that the top unit's entrance is in the driveway and there is no stair-case inside the home.

PETS: • We allow a maximum of two (2) pets not weighing more than 50 lbs. • Pets are not allowed on the furniture. • Pets must be supervised at all times. • Pets must be declared upon reservation
The parking lot has space for about 5 cars. If the lot is full you are allowed to park on the street.
Other things to note: We call the upstairs living area the "tiny penthouse" as it has 6'7 ceilings. One of the bedrooms (the long one) has slightly lower ceilings that slant down with the roof. We recommend guests 6'2 and taller stay in the downstairs bedrooms.
The home is recently renovated and is in a neighborhood going through gentrification with many homes that are recently renovated. The immediate neighbor's property is unoccupied as it is for sale and appears as it has been vacant for years.

I booked this property for my family to stay in during my wedding. It worked well for my family. The communal space is small but plenty of seating available. The bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are lovely. The upstairs penthouse is so convenient and it was very easy to access both areas. The parking was amazing because we had multiple rental cars. It’s so easy to get down to Duke and downtown. Gas station nearby for easy late night snack runs.

Attending a conference downtown.
The host was VERY communicative the entire stay, especially with our late arrival for check-in, a beeping fridge (which was fixed), and check-out. The house had plenty of room for 6 adults and was nicely renovated inside. The desciption online states the house in is a part of town that is being gentrified, which is true and noticable though we never felt unsafe.
Our stay was to attend a work conference at the Durham Convention Center. The house is 1 mile from the conference center, which was very convenient for us. Public transport to the downtown area is nearby, but we did not use it because we had a rental car.
“The house is absolutely beautiful and thoughtfully equipped with everything we needed. It was also spotless, which we greatly appreciated. However, we did encounter a few challenges during our stay. The WiFi connection was inconsistent, which made it difficult to use the TVs, leaving the kids a bit anxious. Additionally, we would have preferred having a traditional coffee maker, as we’re not very experienced with using a Keurig.
Despite these minor inconveniences, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home had a warm and inviting atmosphere, and it truly felt like a home away from home. Everyone in our group was comfortable, and we created many wonderful memories here. Thank you for sharing such a lovely space with us!”
During our stay, our host, Jeremy made sure to stay in constant contact with us to ensure that our stay and that our accommodations were great! The home is very spacious and the location is fantastic! If you have an extended stay in the RDU area, and you need space for multiple people, I would highly recommend this particular VRBO.
House was fantastic, beautiful space and well-maintained. It’s close to plenty of food/entertainment options, but definitely not walking distance.

Property was not maintained well. All bedding was dirty (in all bedrooms - we checked each bed) and bathrooms were dirty. The showers were covered in soap scum and scraped off with toilet paper - bathroom mats were extremely dirty. Kitchen and refrigerator also not clean and the furniture was extremely worn down and stained - there were no paper towels at all in the kitchen. The main sofa was broken in the middle of the frame and not usable. As mentioned previously, the area is transitional which we understood but there was also trash piled and thrown in the front yard. The backyard showed a fire pit and furniture in the listing. The fire pit had rusted out and been replaced very recently but instead of tossing the old one they just left it right next to the new one (rusting and broke - not safe) and the majority of the chairs outside were broken and piled next to the house as well. Completely unusable. On the positive side, there was ample parking off the street which was appreciated as we were there for a car event and were able to safely park our vehicles. Overall the house existed - did have working utilities and we were able to survive there for 2 days but would not stay here again.

Wedding Getaway
The overall space was great! We had 4 couples and 2 children, with each of us getting our own big bedroom with a comfortable bed. The location is close to downtown which is a plus. We didn’t feel comfortable walking, but a quick car ride to anywhere you would want to go.
