"We stayed here on our way from Queenstown to Christchurch. Found it really easily and were greeted by friendly proprietors. Rooms were good sized, clean and well appointed (we had the 2 bed unit which included a kitchenette). Would happily stay here again. "

"Unit was clean but very dated and needs a complete overhaul. Staff were sick so never saw anyone. A instruction manual for the television would be a help as I could not get it to work and there was a program I specifically wanted to see. Other clients also could not get there tv to go. Heater was very efficient and shower was good but don’t turn tap on in kitchen while someone is in the shower. "

"An old convention centre and sprawling hotel from a bygone era, buried in the back streets of Ashburton. Everything quite dated but rooms were clean & spacious. Staff were great. Meals exceptional. Good value for money if you don’t mind it being a bit old fashioned style"
