We came up for our daughter’s college parents’ weekend and really enjoyed our stay. It was great to be able to bring the dog and we really enjoyed having campfires and the homey feel.
Beautiful property with great amenities! Dog friendly property located away from main camp, but not too far away. Really enjoyed our privacy and the ability to use the canoes, kayaks and private swim areas. No issue with bringing our dog as well. We shall return!
The cabin and the entire property were a total delight to our family as we celebrated a graduation and birthday. The property managers were very accommodating with anything we might need. We loved exploring the historical grounds and using the old fashioned bowling alley and pool table. All of the water vistas and water side seating places were a so relaxing. The huge bathtub in the very large bathroom was so cool! We are already envisioning our next stay.
Wonderful rustic and quiet place. Tim was a quintessential host and very accommodating and friendly. Beautiful property to explore and filled with history. Active Spring nature sightings of a bald eagle and beaver in the pond.
Beautiful, quiet setting, away from it all. The history of the camp was interesting. Staff was very attentive and was around to help us enjoy our stay!
This was a charming cabin and we enjoyed out stay immensely! Access to canoes, kayaks, and plenty of dockside fishing made it a hit with our family. We hope to return next year!
Our family and two corgis thoroughly enjoyed our mid November stay at the Gardener’s Cottage. Our hosts were easy to communicate with, the property was clean and private and our need for some internet use was accompanied easily. The entire property is charming and we can’t wait to come back in the summer to fully utilize the lake.
Great place to disconnect from life’s busy demands and connect with nature and loved ones!

A magical place in one of the last remaining Adirondack great camps open to the public
My husband and I stayed at White Pine Camp twice in the past year -- once for a week last August and again for a week this past February. In short, White Pine Camp is like no other place in the Adirondacks -- secluded, private, quiet and romantic for sure, yet convenient enough to town to enjoy some great restaurants and entertainment and downhill skiing at Whiteface Mountain. The entire camp comprises 13 cottages/cabins. We stayed in Gardener's Cottage in August, which doesn't have a lake view but has a great layout with comfortable beds, well-stocked kitchen, yard with fire pit, and a bathroom with the biggest clawfoot tub we've ever seen. It also has a private dock and "beach" accessed by an easy woodland path. Except for one brief hour, we were the only ones using this little beach the entire week. We also stayed in President's Cabin in February during a huge snowstorm and loved cozying up to a roaring fire in the stone fireplace while watching a family ice fishing on the lake just below the cabin. Again, except for two days, we were the only guests the entire week. We felt quite honored to have this huge facility -- with a great room, two boathouses, a bowling alley, miles of trails, etc. -- all at our own disposal. The camp is at the end of a two-mile long road, on a sparkling clean lake, in historic cabins that made us feel as if we were staying in a place you would pay to take tours of. In fact, the camp does conduct a couple tours a week during the summer. Even when the camp is fully occupied, which it often is during the 10-week summer season, you never feel crowded by other guests, most of whom seem to be off hiking, boating, swimming and basically enjoying the natural surroundings.
