"The front desk staff was very friendly & helpful. The housekeeping staff was also very friendly, helpful & efficient. It was clean. The location was very convenient to walk to Main St. in Lake Placid. My only criticism is they need more parking on site. I had a great experience overall."

"A night away to celebrate our 22 years anniversary ands this place was an absolute pleasant surprise, the name is what caught my attention (our daughter is named Cadence) and the location was just far enough away to enjoy a day trip on the motorcycle plus visit the mtns. The onsite restaurant was wonderful service and the food was so good. This place is a hidden gem❤️"

"Lovely restored hotel. Staff was lovely, everything was spotlessly clean. The rooms are very, very small for the cost. The bathroom is so small the door won't open all the way. Also, as noted in a prior review, there is no sound deadening in this place. I was on the third floor and could hear the live band as if they were performing in my closet. Thankfully, they wrapped up by 10:30 pm so it didn't interrupt my sleep. But it did drown out the television."

"Owner home attached to cabin. Cabin is cute & cozy. Communicating with the owner is easy via text. This was helpful when taking the dogs outside. The owner has 2 dogs that are walked regularly. Total experience was delightful. Looking forward to returning."
