Looks really run down. Hair in tub, bedding had brown dingy areas and the chairs are nasty looking with stains. The bed spread has worn spots. Didn’t feel comfortable or like I could relax. I didn’t get a shower. I layed on top of blanket I bought.

Our room reeked of cigarettes, everytime we walked in we almost puked from how strong the smell was. Along with that the AC in the room we could not turn off so it was freezing. Do not recommend

Super friendly staff that was very accommodating. The room seemed clean however the sink was broken and the floor had been cleaned with something that streaked and was sticky.

Disappointed...Wont stay there again!
Booked through hotels.com. checking into hotel, they said i needed to pay the deposit in cash no credit card. I had to go find and pay fees for atm. This morning upon checkout, the 2 families ahead of me did not pay deposits. They told me they were told they did not have too.

The room was nice. The mattress was a little too firm though. The staff was very helpful. The “breakfast” was very disappointing- cereal and toast.

Decent for the price
Decent hotel for the price - no frills, but clean room and comfortable bed and furniture. The shower was very creaky, but I'd stay here again. Lots of lighting in the parking lot for good security at night.

Read reviews prior to booking and they looked great, however upon entry the main lobby smelled of weed and honestly did not feel very confident in my booking. Once I checked in I was asked for a $100.00 deposit that they would not take off my credit card but insisted on cash in which I had to ask for a receipt for. Upon checkout we had to wait for them to verify no damage was done before getting my CASH back. The room was old and musky smelling. This whole experience just made me feel like this was not a great place to stay. I come every 2 weeks and usually stay in Air B & B however none were available near base so unfortunately I settled, won't make that mistake again.

We were there for our granddaughters graduation at Fort Knox High School. The hotel staff was always pleasant. The hotel is older, but kept very clean. It is located midway from Fort Knox main gate and the other way to dining and shopping. Either way is a 5 minute drive. I had our dog which was a $50 charge (she wasn't a service dog). All in all, for a 2 day stay it was a very decent and price right stay. I would stay again.

Terrible Experience
Arrived with my son at 1205 am due to flight delays to be told that they had overbooked and the only room they had was a small double. They also wanted to charge me $20 to change the room which I refused. We had been travelling 20 hours and were shattered so agreed. The young lad on reception was hopelessly out of his depth and said he would bring a lay down mattress but when he brought it the mattress cover was freshly stained with excrement so we had a very uncomfortable night top and tail in the bed. In the morning we went to reception and were told that they would sort things ready for our return in late afternoon. On our return we were given the keys to a twin room upstairs and lugged our bags up. Unfortunately the room was already occupied when we went in - luckily the residents were not in and potentially compromised the security of their possessions. Another trip to reception and allocated a room on the bottom floor. The room itself was clean and spacious and apart from having the precious occupants sandwiches still in the fridge, was very nice. Best part of the stay - checking out!

FUN IN KENTUCKY
The staff was friendly and nice. THE room was clean and sanitary. My time there was good . I even got to sing KARAOKE at The VFW outside of FT,KNOX on SATUR DAY night.

The staff was amazing and the facility was sufficient for the price. The only issue was waking up with the bed bugs that were full of my blood when I smashed them. I took a video and shared it with the front desk. They politely refunded my stay.

Nice Stay at the Super 8!!!
It was a bit off the beaten path from larger attractions, but not too far away from Louisville. The staff were all very friendly and helpful during my stay. The room was pretty nice, and it was quiet overall.

Looks iffy from the outside but inside was very clean. Staff was very friendly and room was surprisingly very clean. Free breakfast was less to be desired but it is what it is. Will stay again.
