Hotel Rum Budapest

"The hotel itself is beautiful and the restaurants are excellent if you love creative dishes. However, we were extremely disappointed with one of our rooms (2 medium rum rooms) as I had booked these rooms at least 8 months ahead of our trip. I had requested them to be on the same floor which didn’t happen. Our friend’s room was not the same size! Half the size as ours and the fridge broke down in our room. The staff tried to remedy with other solutions but no discount was offered for our rooms which I feel is not an appropriate action when you’re in the hospitality industry. We spent a lot of money at SALT so it’s not satisfactory to pay more attention to room details."

"we stayed 3 nights 4 aduls (a familly) in 0ne room. we liked the location near the big market in vaci uca street, the well decorated and clean room, the praivecy in the hotel, the helpfull and kindly service from the staff, we took only one breakfast which nice and tasty. what didnt fits us was the fact that there was no separation at all between the people , the fact that the door of the bath and toilet room was transparent the metresses were too soft it was'nt comfourtable. also the television was not posibble to watch for the 2 persons that sleep on the sopha. I truelly recommend this sweet boutique hotel a especially for couples. the location is great and we loved the modern decorete and the helpfull and nice staff."

"The staff were friendly. The hotel was clean. The location was in the Jewish quarter,. There were lots of great restaurants within 10-15 minutes walking distance, and it was about 20 minutes walk to the river. The location allowed easy access to the local metro and bus system.The bed was huge and comfortable. The breakfast buffet had a large range of food and drinks to select from. The indoor pool was good. Sadly the cooler/wet weather did not allow use of the outdoor pool during my stay. There was only one lift in operation for a few of the days which was slow at times."
