"The Parkhotel Matrei has some of the most attentive and friendly staff I’ve met. The hotel gave off “home” feelings and not commercial hotel. The convenience of a front parking lot, gas station & grocery nearby was great and the rooms were perfect size for me and my many bags, as well as a space for me to get my work done. I was also given a holiday gift bag because they knew I’d be alone for the holiday. Just a great place, words don’t do them justice. Definitely will be returning some day!"

"Firstly, the hotel itself is exceptionally well designed. The layout, the interiors, the artwork, the pools and lounges, and the overall attention to detail are genuinely impressive. Every element feels thoughtful and beautifully executed, creating a really special atmosphere. When we arrived, we received a fantastic welcome. The reception team greeted us warmly with a glass of sparkling wine, collected our luggage from the car, brought everything to our room, and even took our ski equipment down to the ski room — something we’ve never experienced before. It immediately set the tone for a wonderful stay. On our first evening, the service was again outstanding. Your staff were incredibly attentive, and they introduced you to us as the owner. When you kindly came over to our table, I confess I didn’t fully realise who you were in that moment, and I’m a little disappointed in myself — had I known, I would have loved to speak with you properly. From a customer-service perspective, what you’ve created here is extremely impressive, and I would have enjoyed telling you that in person. I run a software business in London, and I would be extremely happy if my customers’ experience was anything close to what we have experienced here. "We had a great stay here. Traditional Alpine 'House' Rooms a good size and with a balcony. Food too was very good, both evening and breakfast. Located in a small quiet village but not far from the main road, so not isolated. EV car charger too, so I was happy"
