About this property

Villa Gaia by Vivimy

  • Villa Gaia, built according to the architectural principles of Mediterranean-style homes, has features that make it unique:
the stunning pool with a small beach area and a wide staircase, the wall clad in rustic local stone, the entrance with dry-stone walls and columns, the beautiful garden, and the large, shaded verandas perfect for relaxing and enjoying al fresco lunches and dinners.

Located in Torre Suda, the villa is surrounded by a lush, meticulously maintained garden with a lawn, palm trees, and flowering plants, and enjoys a breathtaking view of the sea on the horizon.
Villa Gaia is ideal for accommodating 5 guests.

The veranda surrounding the villa is the perfect spot for socialising, relaxing, and enjoying lunch and dinner al fresco, as well as preparing delicious meals on the guest-accessible barbecue under Puglia’s starry sky. In addition to the spacious table and chairs, the veranda—with its wooden canopy—also features a sitting area with sofas for reading and relaxing. Fully fenced, the villa offers parking for cars on the private driveway and two parking spaces under a large carport.

The villa’s interiors: a living room designed for comfort
The living area opens up with large windows that flood the open-concept living room with light; it features a seating area with a TV, a corner sofa, and a fireplace.

From here, you enter a cosy dining room with a well-equipped open kitchen, a large kitchen island, an electric oven, a refrigerator/freezer, and a coffee maker.

The sleeping area is accessed via a hallway that separates the two bedrooms: one double bedroom and one triple bedroom with a double bed and a single bed.
Each bedroom is equipped with air conditioning, a closet, a ceiling fan, mosquito nets, and window screens.
The sleeping area has a bathroom with a shower.

The veranda surrounding the villa is the ideal place for socialising, relaxing, and enjoying lunch and dinner outdoors,
and for preparing delicious meals on the guest-accessible barbecue under the starry summer sky.

The veranda, with its wooden canopy, also features a small sitting area with sofas for reading and relaxing.
Outside, there is a shed for storing tools and an utility room with a washing machine.

The garden features a beautiful pool with an internal staircase and a sunbathing area with lounge chairs.
Fully fenced, the villa offers covered parking for cars in the internal driveway.

    NEARBY:
Torre Suda is a quiet and authentic seaside town on the Ionian coast, ideal as a strategic base:
    - crystal-clear water and low cliffs
    - less hustle and bustle than Gallipoli
    - great for families, couples, and slow tourism
    - a central location for exploring all of southern Salento

The centre of Torre Suda, on the other hand, is located 300 metres from the villa and offers a church to visit, supermarkets, bars, restaurants, and shops, as well as a pedestrian/bike path that runs along the entire coastal stretch of the marina.

The area is close to Gallipoli, just a few minutes’ drive away, as is Torre San Giovanni, a town renowned for its long, golden-sand beaches.
A 15-minute drive takes you to: the historic centre on the island, famous beaches (Baia Verde, Punta della Suina), restaurants, bars, and the nightlife of the “Pearl of the Ionian Sea” (Gallipoli)

The nearest beaches are Lido Pizzo, about 5 kilometres away, and Punta della Suina, about 7 kilometres away (less than a 10-minute drive).

Just 1,500 metres away is Il Molo, which offers amenities such as a bar, restaurant, and a fully equipped beach.
Offering the same amenities, 800 metres away, you’ll also find Lido Solatio, Mambú, Allegria, and Braceria Beach—venues that are also open in the evening.

Nature lovers, on the other hand, can explore the nearby Porto Selvaggio Natural Park, a charming protected area featuring pine forests, scenic trails, and coves with crystal-clear waters.

Continuing south, you’ll reach some of Salento’s most iconic beaches, such as Pescoluse—known as the “Maldives of Salento”—famous for its light-colored sand and shallow, crystal-clear waters, making it ideal for families as well. A little further south lies Santa Maria di Leuca, where the Ionian Sea meets the Adriatic Sea, renowned for its scenic lighthouse, sea caves, and breathtaking landscapes.

For those seeking a cultural experience, Lecce—the capital of Salento Baroque—is easily accessible, with its monumental churches, elegant squares, and shopping streets, and Otranto, a charming fortified village on the Adriatic, famous for its cathedral with its renowned floor mosaic and picturesque historic centre.

Thanks to its central location, the villa is the ideal starting point for a well-rounded and varied stay, alternating days at the beach and relaxation with cultural, nature, and food-and-wine excursions to discover the most authentic traditions and landscapes of Salento.
