This was our first riad and it was amazing. The staff was really nice and open minded. The breakfast was delicious and the architecture and design of this riad was amazing. Really recommend it
Simple and clean. It's a Riad, not a fancy hotel. Come for the experience and old charm. The AC in my room was very nice and super cold (as I like it).
Breakfast was amazing, though it was difficult to get cafe a lait. I drink (American) black coffee so need milk to cut the strong espresso.
The staff speaks only French and Arabic, & I only English & Spanish. Communication was difficult.
WiFi was weak, or non-existant, in the room off the sala. It fell off frequently. The "Comfort" room itself, though small was lovely.
The tiny bathroom was a little difficult: unsure if there were warm water, I only found cold. Taking a hand-held shower would have wet the entire floor. I waited for a shower in Casablanca.
The service was extraordinary. This is not a hotel, this is meant for you to live the experience and it is perfect for that. Location was great, our room was beautiful. Our only complaint is that the pillows and bed had a distinct smell. They do not use mattresses protector or for the pillows. Hot water, working AC in the room, clean towels every day, however, they do not clean your room daily. Overall we had an excellent time and the young gentleman working there was great.
Excellent location! Breakfast had a good variety and we enjoyed the ambiance of the hotel. We loved the street foods in the market literally around the corner. And we also enjoyed the stroll by the castle and beach. Truly a memorable vacation!
Room was like a dungeon and we found a live cockroach in our bed. We asked the attendant to change our room but he refused even though so many rooms were empty. We got there around 12 noon but they refused to check us in before 3 even our room was ready. It was a horrible experience, I would never stay there even if it was free.
This was a terrible stay. The heat was not working. Staff members were called several times to fix it but nothing. They couldn’t communicate properly to
Customers. And they didn’t want to switch the room. It’s not a place to stay. Zero customer service
There was no sign of a manager during our stay. The two men present didn’t speak English, I had to use my poor French.
The place is beautiful but just too quiet. You could hear a phone ring or someone talking from another room.
I booked 14 nights but never stayed even one night. On the first day I tried to reach the manager but he was not available. I contacted Expedia immediately to cancel, but the property refused any refund. I paid for services I never used. Expedia gave me a small goodwill credit, but the property kept all my money. Very disappointing and unfair experience.
