"This is a family owned and operated hotel that provides the quality and service of five star stay.
The hotel and room size are appropriate for the area, but the lavishness of the bedding, the confines all say luxury and exceptionally clean. This is an incredible find of a high value hotel in room close to where you wanna be. You can walk to Saint Peter’s pool and the Bay"

"Excellent Hosts! Great Hospitality! Room was perfect! Breakfast is awesome! We did not use the pool due to the temperatures, but we were really tempted to. Close to several bus stops and has good local restaurants within a mile. Would recommend! Would come again!"

"Massimo's property is a really lovely place to end the day and relax.
Breakfast was perfect to get us fueled up for a long day of walking ahead!
Beautiful view from the bedroom balcony and great communication from a wonderful host.
Taxi's are easy around Gozo, but when visiting Victoria the bus is also convenient. "

"There was ongoing work around the rooftop pool area with scaffolding which was noisy during our stay. We found it difficult to relax when trying to sunbathe on the cabanas due a man shouting to his work colleague. We could hear banging whilst in our room which made it difficult to relax in our room. The pool area had green sludge marks around the inside perimeter of the pool. I was extremely disappointed that you had to reserve sun beds with limited slots available over the 3 designated bookable slots. I contacted the hotel direct before booking and they advised because we were staying out of season the sunbeds where first come first basis so this is the reason I booked this hotel. However, this was not the case and we were told we had to reserve via the hotels app and for 2 days of our trip we were unable to sunbathe at all. The rooms themselves were lovely clean and spacious and the staff were helpful and polite. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a relaxing sunbathing style holiday due to the difficulties of getting a sunbed however if you don’t intend on spending much time in the hotel and prefer to be out exploring then this would be ideal as the location is very close to the water front. "
"Breakfast was good staff great room clean but TV channels crap only news channels on rooms also bit outdated. Surrounding area around hotel absolute nightmare building sites everywhere getting around was horrendous "
"It was my first time in Malta. I had zero expectations and I was blown away. Especially how well kept the hotel was and how friendly and helpful the staff was. Rooms were clean and comfortable. When I checked out I was even offered a to go breakfast box as my flight was at 7am, which I couldn’t resist. Highly recommend this hotel and was worth every penny I payed. Will definitely be back :)"
"Location of the hotel is great. Based in Sliema/Griza area it is a 5 minute walk to the Sliema docks where you can easily hop on a ferry or one of the gondolas (€3 per person one-way) to Valletta.
The hotel doesn't have an on-site pool but across the road there is Aqualuna which is like a beach club vibe (pool, sun loungers etc) and entrance is free to customers of the hotel. (You need to collect a receipt from hotel reception each day to access Aqualuna).
Hotel is approx 15 minutes from the airport (traffic dependent).
Room was cleaned every day and overall cleanliness of the hotel is good."
"Firstly I must say the staff were always helpful and Oliver who worked at The Prickly Pear, lovely, always a smile on his face and made amazing mojitos!
The communal areas are very clean and modern, however my room was not exactly up to the same standard. Maybe I’ve just been lucky in other 4 star hotels I’ve stayed in, but normally I would expect shampoo at the very least, but that’s not so bad.
However being placed next to the games room, was awful, when people were in there at night it sounded like they were in the room with me, so loud! And the machines don’t get turned off until 11pm. The elevators are extremely near to this room as well and despite it being a fire door to my room and the games room, this was propped open majority of the time. This also meant I could hear guests coming and going at all hours of the morning from the elevators.
The air con would sometimes make quite loud noises for no apparent reason during the night, which was difficult to sleep through.
It’s a shame because the staff were nice enough and the area is lovely (minus all the road works currently)"
"Booked a sea view room but was given a room at the very corner of the property with pine tree views and a little partial sea view. Everything else was ok , they have no spoons in the room to mix drinks , the bathtub was blocked and show was not up to standard. They have very nice gym. "
