Convenient location, rooms are clean and bigger than other comparable hotels in the area, friendly staff. Great bar with live music on the weekend.

This was a great retreat right in the middle of Times Square. Clean hotel with restaurants, bars and a pool. Rooms were cute and comfortable. Had a coffee maker and free water. Bed was comfortable large, bathroom was clean. Room service came daily. Only cons are that the elevators can be slow at peak times. But you will have that anywhere with more than 10 floors. Did not run into a single unfriendly staff member.

This hotel goes on our favorite NYC place to stay. Close to mid-town, quiet, friendly, place to stay. Close to Park Place and surrounding by excellent places to eat out. They also have breakfast beverages and other options. It’s a historic building that is well cared for and served by a very proud staff.

Very clean room and helpful staff. The location was amazing for Times Square New York and new Broadway theatre

This was our 2nd time staying at the San Carlos as didn’t disappoint. Location perfect for walking to Central Park, Grand Central. Located near subway station. Room was very spacious, clean with tv & air con. Staff very pleasant and helpful.
