"The hotel was incredibly clean, which was a definite plus. However, the soundproofing leaves something to be desired — given its location near a hospital and a main road, noise was noticeable throughout the night even with earplugs in. The room also lacked some basic amenities I'd expect, like a complimentary bottle of water and a shower cap. At check-in, the three staff members and a manager looked up and smiled when I walked in but didn't offer a greeting — I had to speak first. They appeared to be in the middle of a conversation with the manager, so customer focus felt lacking. No one mentioned the WiFi or offered any orientation to the hotel. I had left a note on my reservation mentioning I was taking the day for self-care. When I arrived and asked about a complimentary room upgrade, I was told my loyalty status wasn't high enough — understandable, but a small gesture acknowledging the note would have gone a long way. Overall, while the cleanliness was impressive, the service experience left me unlikely to return."

"If you’re headed for a shopping trip at somerset mall, this is the perfect place to stay. For the most part it was clean however I had towels that had hair clippings on them and the shower with hair in it. Like the prior guest shaved/trimmed their beard/hair and no one cleaned the clippings! When I told them they just brought more towels and did not remove the soiled toils. Staff was nice, just wished they did slightly better. I can’t say I wouldn’t stay here again, I do believe the place was great for the cost and clean. I just think I had a housekeeper that was having a bad day because my friends room was just fine!"

"Overall, the rooms were pretty clean. However, I noticed small details, such as old stains on the walls and some of the doors. But that could've been an entire building maintenance detail and not housekeeping. Check-in was amazing, as the staff was very understanding of my delayed arrival. While there was an incident fee of $50, it had nothing to do with my delayed arrival--rather, it was a standard procedure for the stay. Overall, I would stay at this property again!"

"Did not actually stay at this property. The lady at the desk was very unhelpful and was rude when I objected to a lack of assistance. She said I acted “white entitled” and threatened to call the police although I never raised my voice, cussed, threatened, or was abusive to her. I only asked why she was walking away without answering my questions. She looked to be Caucasian and I did not understand her assessment of my behavior or her objection to the fact that I wanted explanations for why I could not reduce our stay by 1 night when if I had not shown up, all she could have charged was 1 night. When we then went to our room, it was reeking of smoke. So we refused the room and she decided to cancel the reservation."
