"I was pleasantly surprised when i first walked in. The hotel has been updated and the photos posted are of the older interior. I wasn't able to take photos to show the lobby with the updated interior and furniture. They also have a small shop with food and drinks avaliable for purchase. The beds were comfortable, staff was helpful!"

"The cabin is lovely, very clean and well maintained. All as described. However, you should be prepared for a few things! Boat drop off is a little hairy - if waves are high the water taxi will drop you very quickly (grab your stuff and run off the boat!) or may even decline to drop you on the little beach. This sounds like it's more of an issue at the end of August/early Sept shoulder season. The hike is very steep. Bring a hiking backpack not a suitcase! If there is any chance of rain, be prepared to do this steep staircase and trails with all your stuff/drinking water in the mud! My only other qualification is the cookwear could use a refresh. If you are prepared for the above and are a fairly fit and hearty soul, you'll do fine. Once you're in the cabin it is comfortable, well designed, and has an absolutely beautiful view. Beds are comfortable and there is an assortment of condiments etc shared from previous stays. The hike up to the ridge is lovely and also leads to majestic views. I would recommend - just be prepared!"
