Sandman Hotel Quesnel

2.5 star property
7.8 out of 10, Good, (940)
"A welcome change after being further up north where the hotels are horrid. The host that checked us in was extremely friendly and helpful. Even had a treat for our
dog
. Our room was nice and clean and modern. The only reason I’m deducting a star is because of the state of the halls/windows. Every single one was extremely filthy. They should have the janitor cleaning the public spaces daily. "

"Quiet neighborhood, easy parking, several convenient restaurants and the museum close by. Only complaint is the loud a/c unit, ran all night restless sleep. Otherwise a good place to stay overnight on a long road trip as a tourist"

"Pros-The young man at the front desk was very nice and helpful. The air conditioning worked very well. Hot water was good, but the water smells and tastes not so good, and I have not encountered this elsewhere in Quesnel. The room had a fridge and a microwave, a real bonus. The neighbours were quiet so no trouble sleeping. Beds were fine. It was very inexpensive so I hesitate to complain, but as I rely on these reviews when I am selecting a hotel I will be frank. The reviews for the Willow were...
