"Beautiful property. Extensive breakfast. The indoor casual (non-dining) areas are part of the original palace and you can roam around freely and sit while enjoying the space. The hotel rooms are modern, well equipped and very spacious - they have a closed off balcony. There is no access to the outdoor gardens from the room. The gardens directly in the front of the palace and around the columns are accessible. There is no access to what looks like an Orangery and the areas where the fountain(?)...

"Hotel was great - you can borrow bikes to get into Quinta shopping in about 3 minutes. Ubers are extremely quick, reliable and cheap to get into other areas such as Vale do Lobo (around 4 euros!). Lovely pool, amazing breakfast with so much to choose from. The only downside would be how loud the aircon was in our room. "

"Property was lovely and in a good location , however the villa next door was being refurbished and they were using a disk cutter throughout the first three days. The hotel did give us access to the wellness centre and gym ( saunas and steam rooms were out of use) as a guesture. I think when I booked I should have been advised. The

and gym gesture was nice and as the villa was privally owned they have little control over this but even so it affected our stay. "
