"This is a nice calm place to escape to reconnect with nature and a slower pace of living. There are lots of nature trails to hike. Aveiro and Porto are an hour away, but you have some very unique tourism opportunities about 10 minutes away in S. João da Madeira with their industry tourism and hat and shoe museum!"

"The location it was not where it supposed to be. I realy needed to stay in Nelas. In your site, the place is in Nelas. Thats the reason I booked at the first place. And even at the Google Maps it shows the place as it it in Nelas. But the fact is that it is not in the village I wanted. So I could not stay at the place. I had to move to another place with extra charge. I hope I could refund me because the information I had for the booking is not correct. Kind regards"

"The cottage is great - plenty of space for 2 people and a lovely terrace almost directly on the reservoir. We especially enjoyed the hammocks and the pool table! The furnishings are a bit dated but generally ok. If you don't like a Nespresso machine, you should bring something to make coffee. The bedrooms were very nice. "This is by far the best property I've ever booked through Expedia. The house sits on the edge of a beautiful working farm, across an ancient Roman bridge. A lovely ten-minute walk into town, you cross another bridge that offers a spectacular view the river. The owners live nearby and are the most hospitable and generous hosts imaginable, sharing fresh produce from their farm and knowledge of the area."
