Stillwater Retreat: Spa, Sauna, Pickleball Court

Stillwater Retreat is a brand-new four-bedroom home on the edge of Lake Wakatipu, with open views to the mountains. Spend slow mornings on the deck, then unwind in the sauna or cedar hot tub as evening settles over the lake.



Direct access to the Frankton Track lets you walk into town in about 25 minutes. The track is closed for upgrades until around December 2026 or January 2027; in the meantime, town is a 5-minute drive.



The Space

Stillwater Retreat is designed for time together, indoors and out. Warm, natural interiors open onto a covered deck, and the lake and mountains are in view from much of the home.



Layout: The home is on one level, with stairs leading down from the parking area. Two queen bedrooms are to the right of the entrance. The open-plan kitchen, dining and living area is to the left. The third queen bedroom and the bunk room are on the far side of the living area. The private sauna sits beneath the house and is reached by an outdoor path.



Bedrooms: Four bedrooms. Three have queen beds, and the fourth is a bunk room for four.

Bathrooms: Three full bathrooms (all ensuites) and a guest powder room.

Living areas: Open-plan living and dining, with floor-to-ceiling sliding doors that open onto the deck.

Kitchen: A fully equipped kitchen with everything you need to cook for the whole group.

Deck: A covered outdoor deck with lake and mountain views, an outdoor fireplace, a BBQ, an outdoor lounge and dining for eight.

Outdoor: A cedar hot tub on the deck, a private sauna beneath the house and a pickleball court.

Guest Access

Guests have full use of the property: the kitchen, living and dining areas, bedrooms, bathrooms, deck, hot tub, sauna and pickleball court.



The Neighbourhood

Stillwater Retreat sits right on the lakefront along Frankton Road, between Queenstown town centre and Frankton. The home has direct access to the Frankton Track, a lakeside path for walking and cycling into town or towards Frankton. You’re close to the restaurants, bars and shops in town, but the lakefront feels quiet and private.

Good to Know

Stairs: Stairs lead down from the parking area to the house. This property may not suit guests with limited mobility.

Frankton Track and jetty: The Frankton Track is closed for upgrades until around December 2026 or January 2027. During this time, the track and the private jetty can’t be used.

Sauna and hot tub: Please read the in-home instructions before using the sauna or hot tub.



Extra linen and a mid-stay clean are available for a fee.

Baby Bundle (portacot, high chair, baby bath) is available on request for NZD $50.

Please make all requests at least 3 days before arrival — later requests incur an additional NZD $10 call-out fee.

The first round of amenities is complimentary. If you’re staying more than 5 days, we’d recommend picking up extra during your stay.



House Rules

Maximum of 10 guests, with children aged 0–2 staying free.

At least one guest must be over the age of 22.

No pets, parties, or smoking/vaping indoors — and please, no glitter.

This property is in a residential area; quiet hours run from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM.
