The kitchen is fully appointed with premium appliances — a large fridge-freezer, electric oven and hob, microwave, rice cooker, and a quality Nespresso machine — alongside fine crockery and cutlery, making it easy to prepare a gourmet meal or simply enjoy a leisurely breakfast overlooking the lake.

The Neighborhood:
Alpine Meadows is a mixed use residential area with amazing wide panoramic views overlooking the Remarkable mountains, Wakatipu lake, across to Kingston. Elevated from lake level, it offers incredible scenic walks including into town. (Great photo opportunities)
A local grocery/liquor store, good Italian restaurant and bar, amazing fish & chip shop are all within 3 minutes walk.
Their is a public bus stop directly opposite providing hassle free easy access to the city center and a children's outdoor playground is 2 minutes walk away, offers possibly some of the best panoramic views from any playground!

Getting Around:
At the end of our street and directly opposite is a bus stop. It is a 5-minute ride into central Queenstown.
Alternatively, a taxi is a cost-effective way to travel locally. "Uber" is also very cost-effective and efficient, our own experience is very positive!

Other Things to Note:
The spa/hot tub is for your relaxation and private use only. It is a condition of all reservations and bookings that it is not to be in use after 10.00 pm and before 8.30am on a day. Failure to abide by this condition and house rule will result in full loss of any deposit/bond.
In the event spa facilities require additional non-standard cleaning, due to misuse or inappropriate conduct. In addition to any loss of deposit /bond, an additional cleaning and servicing charge will be passed on to the guest in full.

Guest Verification & Damage Protection
To protect our property and maintain community standards, we partner with an approved software partner. After booking, you will receive a secure link to our Guest Boarding Pass to complete a standard verification and choose your preferred damage protection option:
1. Refundable Security Deposit: A temporary $500.00 authorization hold placed on your card 2 days before arrival and released 2 days after checkout, pending no damage.
2. Non-Refundable Damage Waiver: A one-time waiver fee of $55.00 that waives your liability for accidental damage up to $500.00
Please note: Check-in instructions and property access are available after one of these options is selected. Most guests choose the NZ$55.00 damage waiver for simplicity.

Interaction with Guests:
When we travel sometimes we want to be social, sometimes we do not. Similarly, sometimes we want advice and sometimes we like to discover things ourselves. With this in mind, we like to make arrangements with each guest to ascertain needs or desires. We will likely arrange to greet you on the first day of your arrival, this is to ensure you have everything you need and understand how things work in the house. We will answer any questions you may have and when we know a little more about your visit, likes, and dislikes, offer some friendly tips and ideas for your stay!
