"Eden Oak Geelong A big Thank You to the staff for your caring support. We originally booked two nights to recover from jet lag and do some sight-seeing, but eating some bad food the morning we arrived changed that plan. You were able to extend our stay a day at a time, gave a good referral to a clinic, and otherwise made us as comfortable as possible. Our room was nice and comfortable and the common areas are architecturally beautiful with a lovely pool area and surroundings. The location is in a park adjacent to the 4th oldest botanic garden in Australia. Beautiful. Shopping is walkable, but maybe better to drive there if you’re carrying groceries. Breakfast buffet is included. It’s a good one, with eggs, meat, hash browns, baked beans, pancakes, lots of breads, and fruit. Dinner is generally by menu, but sometimes by buffet if a group is being hosted. Overall our stay here is a good memory. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels and this is one of the nicest accommodations in this price range. We got lucky with this gem in the park! "

"Staff and atmosphere delightful as was the sunny front dining courtyard. Old fashioned comfort and charm and marvellous view from bedroom over 19th C rooftops to the sea. Fabulous location near bech, cafes, museum, PO, Bus stop etc. Forget ensuite bathrooms."

"Couldn't fault the staff, cleanliness or amenities. For the price, it's a great value option. The parking charge is too steep but it's possible to free-park on the street only a few hundred metres away."
