  • Lake George Steamboat Company offers a variety of tours and tour lengths on three different boats. This is the Mohican, their largest. The trip was about 2.5 hours, cost about $23 per person and traveled from the southern point of the lake to about half way north. There is a snack bar but I did not visit it. There is commentary talking about the history of the lake, area and some of the houses. It was a very relaxing and pleasant way to spend the afternoon.

Basic, but comfortable

The room was clean, and reasonably comfortable. The staff was excellent and accommodating. Unfortunately, the bathtub was clogged, and that problem was not addressed while we were there.

They do a good job for service they give for price they keep. That’s a good thing. Place is as safe as it can get closer to lake George and save you 100-200 $ for sure. Now, I did see a black roach twice near window. One I had to stomp and other disappeared. May be with trees around, window open they get in but nonetheless you have to be careful. They were on walls.

Room had all new furniture, very clean . Bed clean and comfortable . Bathroom clean but dated . Towels clean, yellowish not white . Hallway to the room had some slight smell, maybe because of increased humidity , no smell in the room. Noisy overnight from people talking in the hallway , opening and closing doors. Could hear guest coughing all night in next room . Very convenient location , right off exit .

The location is great near lale george but the hotel was not a very pleasant place . Drug addicts were there and me and my family felt unsafe. Never considering going there again.

The shower/Tub was disgusting! There was a dead cockroach in it. There was mold around where the shower wall meets the tub…like all the way around it. People were putting things to hold the entry/ exit doors to the building open so u didn’t need a key. While the front grassy area was respectable and relatively clean our room was outdated, musty smelling and dirty. I will say the bed was comfortable
