Unfortunately this was one of our worst stay in more than 40 years of travel. Not mainly because of the hotel itself, but because of a party of guests that were noisy and obnoxious. After a full day driving in rain and high winds, we were ready for a quiet evening, a hot bath and an early bedtime. We hit the sack at 9:30pm and were sound asleep at 11:30 when we got awakened by loud laughter, shouting, singing and doors banging right outside our door. This lasted for several minutes until the partygoers left. We managed to go back to sleep, only to be awakened again at 2:30 am when the partygoers came back to their rooms, visibly drunk and having a merry time singing, laughing and shouting. They continued inside their rooms, but we could still hear the noise because the doors in this hotel aren’t at all soundproofed. You can clearly hear someone speaking in a soft voice on the other side, so imagine a bunch of drunken guests having a singing contest. They finally quieted down around 3:15am and we got back to sleep. The next morning we again got pulled from our sleep by the cleaning staff doing their rounds. After breakfast we went down to the lobby to discuss the situation with the hotel manager. She was apologetic and offered to give us a $75 credit on our $340 room for that night. I argued that this was not satisfactory but she said flatly that the behaviour of guests is not her responsibility and $75 was all she could do. So we decided to shorten our stay and checked out.

The Hotel Concorde is a querky property that some will love and others will find not to their taste. This is an older hotel that has had some renovation but things like heating and ventilation are really old style. When was the last time you used an individual unit in your room to manage the heating or cooling? (Mine was the 70s) It must have been built before the building code required the installation of sprinkler systems for fire suppression as none were visible. The pool, spa and exercise area is wonderful, the restaurant is very good with really good staff and the location next to the Plains of Abraham and the National Museum of Fine Art is unmatched anywhere. We really love it. But the rooms are not what sells it. The parking garage is a nightmare and way too small for a twenty-six storey hotel. The handicapped parking on level one has been converted into valet parking sending people with mobility issues to another level down. The bathroom has been updated but the amenities are sparse. I haven't had to use a washcloth to plug the bathtub since my last trip to Cuba but this week, that was all I had at the Concorde. In terms of value for money, it is hard to do better in Quebec City but be prepared for a trip back in time when you enter your room. We plan to go back.

The room was ok the floor was water damaged on of the locks was broken there was really no actual lights Except for in the washroom and the closet one of the lamps was held together with self tapping screws but other than that the view was amazing as we were on the 20th floor but for a almost 200 dollar room a night would choose a different option even though everything was about a 15 minute walk away the room was clean and most the staff was nice

Rooms need to be refreshed. They stuck us right in front of the elevator, very noisy. Never going back to this hotel. Feels like going to a third world country hotel. Horrible!

The hotel was great but it needs serious renovation. We ended up getting a room at the highest floor, which had an amazing view; however, the room itself was poorly lit and things inside was sort of falling apart.The cabinet, where the heater was located in, was partially broken. The heater, by the way, was disgustingly dirty. The TV was way too small for the distance it was to the bed, and the bathroom had such poor light that showering in it had very little visibility after closing the shower curtain. The pot lights were just three little light bulbs absolutely not bright at all. The staff was super friendly, reception and cleaners, and the location was truly amazing. Definitely worth the price we paid, but they need to seriously consider renovating the rooms.

Great location: close to the park, bus stop, old port. Very friendly employees, clean rooms. Surrounded by lots of restaurants (including the ones that are in the building - I highly recommend visiting “Ciel”). If you arrived before check in time - there is an option to leave your bags.

This hotel has a good location and great views but the rooms and the hotel are old and not well maintained, looks like they don’t care at all about the maintenance and looks. The room is a mess, the wallpaper is falling apart, the furniture is broken, no light fixtures in the ceiling and the sunlight comes in on the sides of the curtains since they don't even cover the whole space window. Their lobby mats were falling apart, honestly, this place is old and maintenance is nonexistent here.

First room was not the one that was booked. Second room smelled frying oil from the restaurant. We asked to be changed again, third room was ok. The hotel is in an average condition, elevators are functioning but usually very busy. The morning of checkout, we waited for it for about 25 min, the elevators were always full. We had to use the stairs with a bunch of other guests but somehow we ended up outside the building with our luggages. The door to the lobby from the stairs was locked that morning. We struggled with our luggage in the snow to go around the building and re-enter to do checkout. One good thing, the checkout was very fast.

Great stay. Had the room on the 24th floor which the view was amazing. It’s a relatively old building, but they maintained it quite well. The elevator needs a little wait during rush hour (all the check ins and the top floor restaurant guests), but no big deal. Location is great, walkable distance to the old town. Will come again if I visit Quebec City again :)

Le stationnement était 3 blocs plus loin. La chambre était froide et le chauffage à arrêter à minuit. Change de chambre à 1ham. Aucune offre de compensation. Le soir à 21h30, on nous a refusé de prendre une dernière consommation au restaurant qui tourne au dernier étage, avec vue spectaculaire. Chambre vieillotte. Salle de bain avec bain(!) , vieille robinetterie et rouille autour du drain et moisisure sur le silicone. Décevant parce que j'avais de bon souvenir à cet hotel. Étais-ce parce que j'avais payer le prixExpedia ou est-ce que l'hotel a besoin d'amour? Je n'y retournerai pas. Dommage

Nous sommes aller pour un week end en amoureux. Notre chambre était insalubre, les draps tachés. On nous a offert une autre chambre qui était aussi pire … sang dans les draps, divan sale. Je n’osais même pas m’assoir nul part. Mégots de cigarette dans le corridor. Je ne le recommande pas du tout… nous avons perdu une soirée pour profiter. Nous avons demandé un remboursement et changé d’hôtel.
