The clerk gave me discount coupons for breakfast. When I came to the restaurant and presented these coupons, the hotel refused to honor them, referencing an error, committed by a clerk in issuing them to me. A civilized way would have been to honor the coupons and training the staff better for the future. If you charge a dog supplement and call “cleaning”, why does it matter how many nights the stay is, if you clean the room just once? These two moments put a damper on otherwise lovely stay. I will stay elsewhere in the future. The impression that the hotel viewed me as the money to be made was way too obvious.
