"This was lovely. Welcoming, beautiful, well maintained, clean, and conveniently located in the heart of the Old Quebec city. The staff couldn’t have been more gracious. Yes, it is expensive, but you only live once, I mean, how many opportunities will I have to stay in a castle or historic monument? And the sleep was heavenly! We arrived a bit early, chose the valet parking (for only $5 more than diy) and fully expected to stow our luggage until later, but our room was ready and we had the whole afternoon to check out Old Quebec. Amazing property. Beautiful room, comfortable bed, clean fluffy towels and crisp sheets. Pure luxury. Convenient walk in closet with steamer and umbrella. We had the breakfast which was as amazing as it was delicious, with attentive waitstaff and chefs. Faves were the eggs Bennie, crepes in Maple sauce, baked ham, sausages, fresh fruit, and Montreal style bagels with cream cheese and lox, capers and red onion. Lots of pastries and much more, and even catering to a different palate: soba noodles, tofu, soy sauce and green onion razzle-dazzle."
