There was some loud music late night one night that made for a rough sleep but Angelo and Alexis made sure that it didn’t happen again. "Property was ok. Think more needs to be made of the internal stairs going to flat. They are very deep and steep. We were all over 75 and managed them but with luggage it was daunting. We stayed 10 days and would have appreciated clean sheets and towels half way through. Very little in the way of cleaning materials for kitchen and bathroom. We had to request a broom and mop. "This villa was perfect as a home base to the Amalfi Coast and Cilente. Very open and clean. Bathrooms are updated, grounds are beautiful with fruit trees and flowers. Wally was our daily greeter, adding to the charm. Ida was very responsive and helpful with her recommendations. "Our criteria was an affordable hotel with a front desk & relatively close to the train station. This hotel delivered precisely that. It was just across the square, not even 10 minutes easy walk. Our room faced the square & had a little balcony style window which could be opened but not sat on. There was both an outside shutter & curtains which were very effective in blocking out noise & light. We slept well & were not disturbed at all. The room was very clean, well appointed & large enough for our needs. The included breakfast was largely continental style with the most delicious pastries & cakes. Scrambled eggs & cappuccinos were made to order & very appreciated. The staff were friendly especially the gentleman on the front desk who we think may be the owner but we forgot his name. We tried to extend our initial stay as we enjoyed it so much, however sadly for us it was booked out. It is the perfect location for not only travel options but Is also on the corner of the lovely main street with so many shops & eateries to explore! We highly recommend this place! "
