"We enjoyed our stay at this historic hotel. We were upgraded to a suite which was nice. The breakfast and restaurant were good and staff were keen to help. If I had a criticism it is that service can at times be slow despite there being lots of staff around. "

"Reception struggled to find our reservation at check in. Room was basic, Very hard double bed. Kettle and a jug of water was supplied at check in, no further water given and room does not get made up.
We were in the main building annexe and it obviously had not been used for some time, smelt and felt damp. I know we are in the mountains and should expect lower temperatures. We were told hot water would only be available 7-10 both mornings and evenings but we had to ring reception several times...

"First of all, this is not a hotel. It is a shared accommodation with independent bathrooms in each room. The rooms are very small and not clean. Washrooms were stinking and when we asked for proper cleaning, we were provided with room spray. Lot of flies in the rooms co-living with you.
Kettle was not working and we even had power issues where the power sockets were not working for multiple hours.
Food (breakfast) was too good and the service was nice. There is no dedicated parking facility for...
"There was no heat even though the temperature was below 50 degree Fahrenheit. The shower did not work and the food for breakfast had run out. Our rooms had absolutely no windows or sunlight. Badly needs renovation. Most importantly it’s being run with skimpy staff and so no one answered the telephones or took care of you. Sad because bones of property are great. "

Most of my concerns about this hotel are reported in other reviews. So I don’t want to repeat them but agree with them.
I made a mistake of booking this hotel instead of booking a similar named hotel in the neighborhood that I was hoping to book.
Hotel management is rude and unfriendly. They are only after your money without making any effort to earn it.

"We were really happy with our 3-night stay at this hotel. The staff is friendly and eager to help. The food is good, rooms are comfortable with adequate amenities.
The Bonfire on the misty and cold evenings were welcome - the evening 5 PM TEA Tasting was a warm touch.

"It’s an excellent new hotel and well maintained property. Courteous staff and immaculate house keeping. Food at Buffet breakfast and dinner is quite extensive and tasty.
I wish the property were renting scooters to go to city and sight seeing. Auto or cab is the only mode of transportation. Majority of the residents have their own car.
I also recommend the management to start working on activity for hotel guests with corresponding transportation."
